It is just past the butterfly farm.....not a big tourist destination from what the cabbie said! We love Guavaberry Coladas. We loved St. Maartin the first 5 times around.....last time we just weren't impressed. I guess it is because we had our kids with us and the poverty really effected them more than it ever did us... Anyway-we are probably just going to do that in the morning and then the water taxi back to Phillipsburg to shop and get $.99 bud lights streetside!! Oh and the colada!

You can easily see when the bingo times are as they promote them on the front page of each day's navigator - I simply did not note it - not that I don't go every once in a while.

I'm so glad to finally get all of this in one place!

We're at about 10% of our picture allotment.

I'd like to add a link to the Navigators (the newest ones). If anyone has the link, please feel free to add it. Or anything else you feel is really cool or pertinent to the cruise!

I'm going to start my precruise packing. I leave the big suitcase open in our guest room and toss things in as I think of them. What is the most important thing you've forgotten for a cruise or trip? I forgot gel and hairspray! Now, that was not a pretty site! Not that I'm hung up on how I look (Try not to look in the mirror more than I have to!) but I do care that I don't look like a hag! Especially on formal night!

*****Make sure that CG has your wrist band order, if you want to order!!! These will help identify us to each other and it's an inexpensive memory of the cruise!!!

Also, go to Home Depot in the paint section. They have the Disney paint chips. Look for the Alien Green (kind of a lime green) one. Take just a few and tape them on your Day Bag so that we know your in our group! We can easily see you in the port while we're waiting! We still have ours from last year on our luggage (used sturdy packing tape and just taped the suckers down the whole way across!) Another use is to put magnets on them and put them up on your cabin door.

Another idea is to decorate your door with a door sign, etc. I've posted ours from last year before but can post again if someone wants. It's fun and if enough people do it, maybe we can have a door contest! Get the kids involved! Fun family play and planning!

I was going to post my door sign over at Yahoo because I did it prior to having this great scrapbooking abilities and its here at work.

Just booked my flights and hotel down in Orlando for my February trip - man was that hard. Its the tail end of spring break and thank God I have like 3 airports to choose from and Thank God the company's pickin up the tab.

If its not there, you can PM her to link you to his web site. He shows how to make storm trooper costumes with PVC piping. Anyways, sound corny, but from my neophite view, it looked cool. Tim would definately be interested.

This is mighty cool and I really do bow down to Suzie for doing it. BrotherlyLoveJen - I think I rode in that limo you and HGP are in. My husband's best friend lives in PA on the blue route right near you guys and they got married downtown and we all rode in this HUGE van type thing for their wedding - it looked just like your picture inside.

Oh, I totally don't think you need to do that. I would start at like page 50 and go from there if I were doing it, but it's really not necessary.

The other site is just to see people's pics and see arrival times, meet times *which have yet to be determined, and other pertinent info - it won't take long to catch up over there.

Oh, yeah--I forgot to mention Castlegazer, I'm an avid scrapbooker too and I did get far enough to see your 1st digital layout with your daughter...BEAUTIFUL!!...I realize this was a long while ago, but thought I'd mention it. now that I've switched to digital photos, and the number of pix I take has quadrupled, I think I'll have to go digital on layouts also. I'll probably go ahead and paper scrapbook what I have, but newer trips will have to be digital.

Trying to get things squared away. Tonight is a big night for my friend. Her DH has been in Japan waiting to go to Iraq (Hooah! Go Marines!) and just found out that they are sending him back home in August to finish out his final 19 months here at Quantico!!! They don't have to move!!! So, we are going to Glory Days tonight to celebrate with 1/2 price wing night (http://www.glorydaysgrill.com/index.html) which is Christian's favorite place to go! He's the champion wing eater there. So, in his honor, we will celebrate there. This is/was a weekly ritual there. Sad, but the waitresses all know us....A Place where everyone knows your name, but it's not NORM!

And then, once we get back home and get the wee one down to bed, it's off to bed to watch the DVR IDOL - LOST! Gotta love watching DVR'd shows. Just skim through the commercials. Pause, rewind, replay, and do it all over again until you understand what you saw/heard!!!

it's the only way. Plus - you can make mistakes and it's no big deal - change, fix, correct photos - digital scrpabooking is a dream!!!!!!!

I watch Veronica Mars too- what a show last week. They had me fooled 'til the end. I wonder what she will do now. Can't wait for tonight's episode. BTY- we just had our HD DVR installed today- I think I am going to love the ease of DVR!

Hi gang, Does any one else get heart palpitations when you have been away from the boards for so long(since noon) there are like a million new posts. You have 2 screaming, hungry kids and a buzz(my mom came by for a glass of wine at 4 ) but I can't do a thing until I read all the posts!!!! Arghhhh!

Suzie-you can strangle me if you wish! Wondering one thing. I can't figure out how to change my album name to "PhillyJen and HGP" since no one knows we are the Metzler's? If you can do it, great-I couldn't figure out how to do it!!

Also- I posted an Island Guide under the Links section- it has great info about taxis and ferry's on St. Thomas and St. John. Fares, schedules etc.... for those obsessive planners among us!

TT-it has been too long....... Oh and Hannah can't wait to see Sarah again!!! She remembered her from her picture on the yahoo site! WE have the same problem, Julie, we have NO pictures of us together!!

CG-That was an Excursion Limo we used to get to port from Satellite Beach the last cruise! Yes, those were Mimosas at 9:30 in the morning!!! Gotta start somewhere!!! Mermaid Patty booked us with Happy Limo this time and got the excursion too. It was so much cheaper/per mile this way. We paid like $150 to go literally 11 miles last time and this time we are paying $159 per family to go from the airport....That is at LEAST 2 bottles of Champagne and a shot of OJ!!

Alright, looks like Spaghetti tonight! T minus 5 minutes till dinner.... even though the buff HGP is STILL at the gym.

I hope American Idol is better tonight!!! I was disappointed with the show last night. Didn't even make me laugh. I just couldn't even watch some folks were so bad!!!
