Hey there, I am here but only in Spirit. We leave tomorrow for Vegas so I have officially checked out . The Queen and I are in for some definate adult time, before we head to the Beach Club in 31 days, then nothing until 1st week of April Vero Beach, oh and I almost forgot

We're here but dealing with croup. Tori started on Friday and seems to be better now. But still the lingering cough, etc. but we'll get through!

So, Penn State 5-0, huh? WOOHOO!! Skins are 3-0, too! Man, life is good!

Leaves are falling all around, the weather is chilly, coats are out of the closet....guess fall is here, huh? Bummer....

Busy weekend this past one, 10 year anniversary of our church. Big tadoo on Saturday and no sleep since has left me exhausted. Do you ever catch up on sleep? How do you catch it? Hmmmmmm....

Oh yeah, only 25 days until we go back to WDW for our eight day trip. Hey, Tom! We gotta set up a meeting time and place when you get back from LV!

Well, the Great One is bellowing for me - little monster is more like it! Sheesh!

Sorry to hear about the croup - I am ignoring the LV people because I am super jealous.

September was horrific for us with sicknesses. My daughter came down with some awful thing - gave it to me and I had to be on antibiotics - then we gave it to my son who was hospitalized for breathing issues with it. Then a week later he unluckily came down with a new virus that turned into croup. Then a week after this he came down with a new cold again that had him wheezing and us back to the doctors. Its been rough. I totally sympathize. We have yet to get back to a normal sleeping schedule as my daughter is still waking waaayyy more than necessary right now - oh, because I forgot to add, that she got two teeth in a span of 7 days and is nor working on her upper teeth. again 7 days after the last one came in.

So, I think I will never sleep again. But, other than the teething, everyone seems relatively healthy for now.

Take care, nap when you can - like sitting in a chair at dinner because I am sure that is the only time you sit for a moment - and it will pass.

My church ages with me. We just had our 35th anniversary. My parents founded it when they moved from Michigan to Massachusetts. So, happy anniversary for your church, Suzie.

Thanks, CG. Unfortunately it doesn't look like we'll be going. DD is still sick but looks like strep now...and I'm coming down with it too. Got an appt for a strep test tomorrow - I hate those things!! My mom came down with it from watching Tori over the weekend.

DH told me he's feeling a bit under the weather now too which is really not good. He never gets sick and now the doctor has told him he has to start taking B Complex for his immune system and get his flu shot ASAP. Has something to do with his heart and how it's recovering from his heart attack last year. Can't believe it will be a year Thanksgiving. Way too young for this to happen. Problem is that there is still blockage that is irrepairable that is what is giving the doctor fits. Long story that I really won't get into ....sorry for this long post...

Okay everybody. Stay healthy and safe!!!! Probably won't be on much since I really feel quite terrible, so no big news while I'm gone, okay?!

HOw many of you plan to dress up for Pirate night? There are 20 of going ages 3-63. I think all the kids will be in costume I just need to convince all of the adults.

I was just going to get the pirate garb and tell them that we need to wear this tonight! HE HE HE !! The only thing wrong with that plan is not everyone on board will be wearing it, so I don't know how far down the hall we will get! I will have to think this one through!

That's just it, if I convince everyone to dress up and we are the "only" ones dressed up then I might not be everyones favorite person that night.

We're back on the mend with the help of antibiotics. Feel lots better!

Had to go to Target to get prescriptions and found the cutest thing! They have Mr. Potato Head pumpkin pieces! You can make a pirate, a princess, a witch or a vampire! They only cost like $4.99 but you have to buy a pumpkin. They DO NOT fit the Mr. Potato Head but heck, what a cute pupkin it will be on our front porch!!!

Less than three weeks to our family trip to WDW and I am so excited! I always feel like a little kid waiting for Christmas to come!

I am back from yet another wedding weekend.

My BIL's wedding was very nice - completely rained out with Tammy so we got something like 5" in an hour and they were stubborn and still had the ceremony outside - but all in all, umbrellas and all - it was a good time and very nice and they are very happy. Me, on the other hand, am just sooo happy to be done with these crazy weekends for a while - happy that my duoponi silk dress didn't get ruined - and happy that my son made me soo proud.

My son was awesome, so handsome, and soooo, good. I paid $150 to hate my hair and makeup, but what can you do.... Everyone thought my daughter was amazing - she loves to smile and laugh at everyone. She loved dancing at the party as did my son.

So that's it for snidbits of my weekend.

mketting - do I owe you a welcome? Have we met before? Are you cruising with others?

I am wishy washy on the pirate night thing. I have enough issues getting my son and daughter dressed for dinner normally and after going through this weekend where I had to get myself into a bridesmaid gown, get my son into a tux and get my daughter into a ballgown, I am loathe to take on a task of getting everyone to dress for pirate night so you will most likely see us in normal tropical garb that night. I am not one to dress up anyways and my husband even less so.

Yup, call us party poopers. I will put on the bandana, though.

Glad you guys had a good time even though it rained! Yuck, we have more rain today....really feel like we need to start building a boat or something!

Anyway, we don't dress up in pirate garb, etc. for the pirate night. We just wore coordinating tropical outfits for pictures. I think some of the pirates scared Tori at the deck party but she deals with the characters just fine. Not sure how she'd react this year cause she is a year older, YK.

So, anyone else??? Where is everyone??? How about the Las Vegas crew? How did things go? Winnings?

That also is a reason for us not dressing in pirate garb - the Jolly Roger totally freaks out my son (and my door sign prominently features this, so alas, it may have to change) but he is OK with pirates if they are like Captain Feathersword, but the whole swashbuckling thing kinda puts the jeebers into him too. He's been a little sheltered by us from scary individuals in movies and stuff. He only recently began watching Disney movies all the way through. He's very sensitive to scary stuff and violence and I am very hesitant to change this in him. Thus we shelter him.

Hi CG , sorry about the rain , I can't imagine standing outside in it all dressed up . They say rain is good luck on a wedding day thou .

Well ,I came so close to canceling my Disney cruise today but things worked out and all is well . I had a small fall out at work and just left , I'm too old for the games the younger managers play . I ended up being offered a new job that I have been hoping for about 4 hours after I left Less pay but I'll be much happier , thats what counts right ?

I don't think we are dressing up either for pirate night . I'm with you Susie , we have tropical matching outfits too , still looking to get DH something that will match .

We lost at the Montreal casino , but had fun anyways . We have been in the Adronidacks this past weekend visiting DH family . Unfortunatley his sisters dog had ticks so that was horrible , then while we were there his Mom called and said her dog got into a scuffle with a skunk . when we got to his moms her whole house smelled horrific !!!!!!!!! When we got home everything smelled , I'm sure even thou we weren't able to smell it on ourselves everyone at the casino did ! Iy was funny thou 6 of us pitch in and play the $1.00 slots and evertime we hit even $10.00 you would have thought we hit $1,000,000,00 we clapped and yelled :O)
