4/27/13 Western Fantasy

We just decided to book an additional cruise leaving Dec 1! There are some incredible military specials right now and we couldn't pass it up! It's the 7 night Western Caribbean on the Magic out of Galveston. I'll be able to pass all my experiences to everyone! As of right now we are still planning on doing this cruise as well! YAY!

Howdy Everyone!!

So excited to be joining this group. It will be my husband and I, and our two kiddos (Abby is 5 and Griffin is 2). This will be our 3rd Disney cruise, but our first time on one of the new boats! So excited to see the Fantasy!

I am jumping in with both feet and volunteering to start a roll call, take on the FE Exchange coordination and starting up a Facebook group. That's just the way I roll. LOL!!

I'd love to see our group talking and getting to know each other prior to the cruise. It really ups the excitement! Plus it's super fun to do a meetup on embarkation day - we've hung out with so many folks from our last cruises.

Hey there! I've been very quiet lately too, but my husband and I are joining y'all on this trip! We are really excited, this will be our 2nd Disney Cruise and our 2nd wedding anniversary. No kids yet, yay adult pool! (Ok, we'll hop on the Aquaduck a few times too!)

We took my husband's mom, dad, grandma, and sister on our last cruise and surprised them for Christmas. We got each of them a Disney stocking and stuffed it with lots of cruise goodies - travel sized stuff, sunglasses, sunscreen, DCL tshirts, ID holder lanyards, etc. and attached a letter I found here on the creative boards letting them know about the surprise. All six of us were yelling and crying by the end of it! Feel free to steal this, since I did...

Our family just booked this cruise this week! We did the Fantasy on May 5 this year to the Eastern and my grandkids loved the clubs so much we are going back to do the Western. I hope they love it as much this time as they did the last time.

I'm Vicki, the only one of the group that does Disboards. The others are too busy and just rely on me to be there guide to all things DCL. This is our 3rd DCL, having been on the Magic in 2007 when there were only 2 grands!

We have 4 cabins. One is my aunt, who is in a wheelchair and her aide. Then my DD and her family, Carson is 5 and Owen will be 2 when we sail. Her DD will be in our cabin with us, Alexis is 11 and Olivia is 8. Another reason we chose DCL again is that this is the last time Alexis can go to the Oceaneers Lab. We are not ready for her to move up to the teen club.

Last but not least is my DS and his family. McKenna is 4 and Brenna is 2. We were shocked at 3 how much McKenna loved the club. I know it depends on the personality of the child how much they like it, but she is a bit shy with strangers and jumped right in to the club life! Once I ran in to them on board ship and asked where she was, she had gone to the club by herself, without her cousins!

Looking forward to meeting you and returning to the Fantasy. After we got off we thought of so many things we didn't get to do so hopefully we will get to do them this time.

Hello cruise friends.... Haven't been here in a while. I've been dealing with the on-going effects of DCL canceling our Sept 29th Dream cruise to make it a DVC cruise and getting that re-situated. What a pain that is/was.

I am a traveling grandma also. My DD and DGS will be traveling with us. DGS is also 5yo. This will be his 3rd cruise and he absolutely loves the clubs. He can't wait to go back to see his "friends" on the ship. This will be our 7th Disney cruise, but the first 7 night. We have always done 4 nights in the past. Can't wait.

Our "active" facebook group has 9 members, but nobody is real active yet! I suspect this thread and the facebook group to get more active as time gets closer. In the other groups I've been in that has been the case.

My family and I will be on the April 27, 2013 cruise. THis is our 1st Disney cruise but we are an avid cruiseing family. Has anyone thought about doing Fish Extenders yet?
