We'll be in SoCal over Easter, staying in San Diego and Huntington Beach for a long weekend away from the cold northeast. We were thinking of doing Disneyland on Monday 4/25. How crowded will it be? It's at least after Easter and most Spring breaks. Hanging out by the pool at our hotel sounds awesome, but I don't think Huntington will be quite warm enough.

I'm guessing it's not really worth rushing to see the fireworks at DL then rushing to see WOC at 10:15? Maybe watching the fireworks in the esplanade between the parks, then walking into DCA and over to WOC? We've seen the fireworks before; we love fireworks and also haven't seen WOC yet so it's still a dilemma. I'm thinking of doing the picnics so we don't have to rush to DCA in the morning; I'd rather get some E-Tickets out of the way early at Disneyland.

I'm thinking of purchasing "Lines" for my iPhone for the month, but I think I already know they probably have 4/25 as a "9" or above out of 10. This week has been mostly a "9" too and honestly the wait times seemed acceptable to me (i.e. 35 minutes for most E-tickets). We know how to fastpass :)

Thanks for any thoughts. We did Disneyland in '09 and just did WDW last December, and here we are squeezing a day in on our 4-day weekend over Easter :thumbsup2

RDCT isn't that great from the Esplanade. I would make full effort to see WoC, then after if you get into DL and catch some of RDCT walking into the park consider that a bonus.

You won't have enough time to see RDCT and then WoC. You will get a crummy view of WoC. It will be better to take time to get a good spot for WoC.

Well, TouringPlans (developer of Lines) says your date is a 10 out of 10, so I am guessing there will still be plenty of folks on vacation like yourselves. So I would go in with a plan and use FP to the max. Get there early and collect FP in DL in the morning. Head over to DCA when DL gets crazy. Picnic sounds like a good idea, but then again I don't know what time the WOC FPs have been running out on these really busy spring break days. Hopefully someone else can give some information on that.

I think it will be difficult to try and squish in the fireworks and WOC in the same day if you want to see both from prime locations, especially given how busy it is projected to be that day. I would pick one and make it your priority. On such a busy day, I would hate for you to get a really bad spot for WOC because you were watching the fireworks from a less than optimal spot anyway. And since you haven't seen WOC yet...;)
