YAY!!!!!!!! Me & my husband just booked this cruise for our 31st anniversary. This is our 5th disney cruise. We ha done Fe's in the past and they are a lot of fun. Is there another forum post where everyone is signed up? Is anyone participating?

This is our 1st cruise and I have read about FE and thought it sounded like fun. I had offered to make a list or something. Like I said this is our 1st cruise so I don't really know what I would need to do, but I'm willing to try. My DD will be celebrating her 6th b-day(it is the 21st-but close enough)on the cruise and I thought she would enjoy the FE like little b-day gifts. Let me know how to help or get it going or whatever. Dani

When we did it last time there was a master list. It was something like this

Last name:
Room number:
and the ages & sex of who was in room. Like boy 12 , girl 5
or husband 42 wife 41 etc.

The reason for this was so you would know what kind of presents to put in the Fe's. You would not want to put a princess coloring book in one if there was a boy in that room. We are just 2 adults so we would not want little kids things. I have gotten some really thoughtful things in the past. We have received a home made cd of tropical music, home made disney luggage tags, a home made disney magnet frame, even a little airplane travel size bottle of rum.
Some people don't get cabin numbers till a few days before the cruise so everyone would have to be sure to check right before they left. One time we received a message in our state room from someone participating that they got an up grade at the port so they just left us their new cabin number. I'm in if you want to start a list. Hopefully we'll get everyone to play. It is really cute to come back to your cabin and find little things.

My family will be sailing on this cruise (11 of us total in three cabins); this is the first time for my husband and I. Our three kids have all been on Disney cruises before with the in-laws. I'm anxious to see what all the hype is about! It's funny that there's another Brenda on this sailing (I'm a Brenda, too) since I rarely ever meet someone with my name. I will keep checking the boards, as everything about this trip will be new to us!

I will start a master list of anyone who wants to be included in a FE. I'm fairly new to the disboards and don't know how to post pics or links or anything like that...how will I get the list to the others? I guess I could always just PM them with it.... I will find a way!

This will be our 15th Disney cruise and we're just as excited as we were on our first one.

My DH and I are doing the April 25th Wonder cruise to celebrate our 24th wedding anniversary. We've been on the Magic twice (7-night Western and Eastern cruises) with our teens. This time, we're leaving them home with Grandma so we can enjoy the Disney "magic" on our own! Can't wait!

Hi Everyone...we Just booked our cruise today...This will be the tail part of our first ever Back to Back cruise...we will also be cruising the April 22nd (3 day) Wonder right before this one...so we will be on the ship to welcome you all in

Although this is our First ever Back 2 Back Cruise, it is not our first Disney cruise...in fact this cruise date will be My son (who is 4..named Christopher) and myself (Shauna who is 28) 8th Disney Cruise. The April 22nd will put us at 7 and this our 8th. This will be my hubby's (Mike) 5th cruise.

Just wanted to come on in here and introduce ourselves and say HEY to all my fellow Diser's

We are booked in stateroom #5012 and we have specifically chosen LATE dinner seating (our favorite seating and works best for us)

Ok, now my DW is excited about doing FE. So to keep my sanity intact let's try to get a list going! disneyluvrs4 has taken on the task of putting a list together. Thanks disneyluvrs4!! Hope to see more people jump on the FE train.

My DW and I would like to say, "Hi", and that we'll be joining all of you come April 25.

This will be our sixth cruise on the Disney Wonder and they just keep getting better and better.

My DW and I will be celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary, (yeah, we're a couple of old fogies), and to help us celebrate this Wonder-ful occasion my brother-in-law and his family will also be joining us. This will be their second Disney cruise.

We'll be staying on deck 8, Cat. 4. DCL called us this past Thursday afternoon and offered us an upgrade from our Cat. 6 room. I couldn't say no.

We'll be looking forward to meeting everyone. See ya in 50 days.

hello! I got a call from disney on thursday about the same upgrade. They left a message on my cell. was this a free upgrade? they said I have until the 15th to upgrade.

To Otimon: I've played and coached many a Hockey game at Hamden rink. I'm from lower Fairfield area, right on the NY/CT line.

To murphy4: No, the upgrade cost us $219.00 but I checked the cost of the CAT. 4 vs. the Cat. 6 and it would have been $500.00 so I thought that it was a pretty good deal. Bad news though... as of 10:00 AM yesterday there were no more rooms available for upgrade from CAT. 6 to 4.

Things surely have changed. Grew up and have been here for hate to say almost 40 years Jordan Marsh is now a Macy's, the Sheraton still there but is now a Quality Inn, the poor Bedford Mall has seen better days business have come and gone. All that is left is Marshall's,Staples,Papa Gino's, Bob's Store and a few private store's. Too bad it is such a great and easy location to get to compared to South Willow Street. There was talk of a developer knocking it down along with some of the hotel to build a new complex but I believe that is on hold due to the economy. Oh well thats life I guess, but it sure is nice to reminisce and remember the places that were around growing up.
