4/25/09 Magic - First Visit To Tortola!

Practicing (my dh says a little off key though)

The deck plans are awesome, we have some real talented people on this thread. thanx
We went to Pop Century for lunch today. Just getting in practice for the Magic.
Have a magic evening everyone.

CK - the map is great!

Dot - :headache: jealous here! Wish I needed something at downtown Disney for you to make a trip :lmao:

Rebecca - the list is great too.

29 days

.... just sayin....

:banana::banana::banana::banana:

Hey, I'm dancing with you!
:woohoo::banana::cool1::woohoo::banana::cool1:

Now if we could just get our cabin assignment, I will really be dancing!!! (I guess that's the price we pay for having a CM booking - I'm not really complaining though, the savings make up for the extra wait! I just hope we find out soon!)

Hope everyone is doing well! We are going to pull out one of the suitcases this weekend and start throwing things in that we don't want to forget! I've gotta get started on those magnets too (thanks for the larger version of the logo, Rebecca)!

Edited to add a photo of us from our 4 night Wonder cruise last year:

I just love the look Cap'n Jack is giving DH!!! LOL! :rotfl:

No problem!! :thumbsup2 I've also dragged out a suitcase already and started throwing things into it that we need to bring.

Guess what I just did this morning?! I shipped a box to the ship with all the FE gifts! :banana: So that's all done! Yay!

My husband and I just booked the cruise. Is it too late to get into the FE for this cruise. Cindy

Hi, Cindy! Welcome! :wave2: Unfortunately, it is too late to join the FE list. We decided to cut the list off at 20 cabins and we've already reached that. But I think you can still get on the wristband list that sandyrella1010 is organizing. She's getting us wristbands that we can wear when we want throughout the cruise to identify each other and they are $1 per person. Please also join us at the Cruise Meet in the Promenade Lounge at 3:30 on the first day when we take a group photo!!

Will we get cruise documents from DCL? Seems like last time we got a packet of info about one month from sailing. Do they still do that? I know there is a way to print and complete or complete on-line :confused3 the documents.

Hope everyone is having a good day. We had really bad weather come thru our area last night/early this morning. The parking lot at my office looks worse than after Hurrican Gustav in September. So far i haven't heard about anyone getting injured or any fatalities. That's a good thing.

We got a packet about a week ago. It contained info on tours and gifts you can buy. I also filled out a form at www.disney.com and was able to print it to take to port for sign in. My TA said we would get our port tickets about a week before sailing.

That's not the same as the "cruise documents". The cruise documents will include luggage tags and the forms. "The Passporter" book says 10-14 days before you sail. I'm not sure what they do for families who go to WDW the week prior to sailing. What if they don't get their stuff in time? :confused3

I believe the cruise documents usually arrive 2 to 3 weeks out. Seems like we got ours around the 3 week mark last year...

I am also a PassPorter book fan - I have many WDW and DCL editions - I love them! I am waiting on the 2009 DCL version right now - it is supposed to ship out before our cruise - but if not I have found out that the PassPorter folks will be on our cruise so they said they can just give it to me on the ship!

Ok the first person to get their docs should come to the thread and do the "DOC" dance so the rest of us will know when to start looking for them.

Thanks for the invite. Is anyone staying in Port canaveral the night before. we are staying at the radisson. It is cheaper to stay in a hotel the night before and get free parking then to pay for parking at the port. Also has anyone booked any shore excursions. sorry for all the questions being a late comer have to get the scoop. LOL. We are going to book with White Squal II in tortola to go the baths and and snorkeling.

Per Passporter's website, if you have pre-ordered the book already, you can get the PDF version online to see what's in it. They just sent it to the printers. :thumbsup2

Did anyone book the cruise direcly from DCL? They're likely to be the first to do the doc boogy. :banana: I know i'll have to ship throught my TA first.

Okay i have been on many cruises and been involved in many disboards meet, but i have never one heard the passporter mentioned what is it all about?
