I'm not sure yet what we're going to do re: shore excursions. We don't have anything booked yet. I am thinking about booking a dolphin encounter while on Tortolla (I think it's all full on the DCL excursion list, but am pretty sure we can just book online through the dolphin encounter place). And heading to St. John while in port at St. Thomas (the beaches in St. John are beautiful). I think we'll just hang out at Castaway Cay on the beach all day - no excursions there.

Crossing our fingers that we get an upgrade...

Thanks - my item ended up going for $720 plus shipping! I am ecstatic - now I just have to hope the seller comes through on the payment!

About St. Thomas/St. John - the one thing I keep going over in my mind is the fact that we won't be "doing" any of the beaches while there... We just couldn't pass up what seems to be an excellent snorkeling adventure - mabye we will be close to an actual beach sometime while on the tour?... If not I guess there's always next time for the beaches! (We live in Florida so we have access to some pretty nice beaches.)

If anyone wants to join the FE club - send me a note or post here. But I do think we need to cut it off by this weekend. It's getting close and that needs to be finalized. As of the current list, there are a total of 16 families/cabins participating. If folks want to plan on 20 that gives us some wiggle room in case others join later on. I wouldn't want to leave anyone out that wants to participate.

Chime in with suggestions - I volunteered to keep the list, not necessarily make the 'rules'.

I'll be out of town the rest of this week (probably with no computer access , so don't worry if I don't get back with you right away.

Does anyone want to join my DH and I at a table for early dining?? We're real nice folk . And we don't mind dining with children

We would love an upgrade. We are currently category 11. We were trying to keep in on the cheaper side since we are doing Disney afterwards. Also we are currently the late dinner seating. I would love to switch to the early. We are on the wait list. Does anyone know how they decide on upgrades and dinner seatings from the waitlist? Thanks

Welcome, We are a guarantee cat 12 with family of four so from what I understand cat 12 won't sleep 4 so we will be at least an 11. I've noticed a lot of 12 end up in cat.9 which would be awesome. I might also look at the price for a veranda if available when we get to the port. I would love the split baths. We also booked cheap and just happy to be going.

I called about main seating. We are on the wait list also. We booked Dec 27th. The CM says it has a lot to do with age of kids. They will upgrade families with younger kids 1st, so I bet you will be upgraded. My youngest is 5 so we can deal if we don't get changed. I am also interested in how to find out how full the ship is?

DH and I would love to join you, (you sound like great folks) Does the invite extend to folks in their 4th childhood-- we won't grow up) Let me know how to go about this. Our paperwork reads requested early dining so I am not sure if we have it or not.
I think 20 sounds like a good number for the FE list. This is our first attempt at this but I already have several ideas working. We are excited about our first Disney Cruise. and appreciate all the good ideas on this thread

I think cutting it off at 20 cabins is a great idea! That will allow for some last minute additions but we'll be prepared. Awesome solution!!

At that time I will be handing out wristbands for us to wear so we can recognize our group at least the first couple of days. I'm still compiling a list. I'll post what I have on the weekend but for those who haven't told me I need to know how many wristbands you want and the size (children or adult). I have to order the bands so I will be making the cutoff around the 20th or so. As someone else mentioned we can also check at that time to see if anyone's room number has changed if they are involved in the FE's. You don't have to be doing FE's to do the wristbands - this is totally different.

Also -- Isutigger - - DH and I would love to join you for dinner as well. Let me know if that works out. I know Dot asked also so it sounds like it would be fun. We are kids at heart also.

Everyone! We just booked this cruise. I am excited to join this group on the cruise. I am about half way through reading the past threads to get caught up. We just planned this trip in the past 3 days. This will be our 2nd cruise and couldn't pass it up. It will be alot of fun!

Count us in for the wristbands! Our party is just 2 adults (myself: Michelle and DH: Danny) and we don't know our cabin number yet, but hopefully we will in another week or so...

We would like to join someone for dinner but we can't because we are on a Cast Member booking and we will probably get late dining (which is fine with us) and possibly be seated with other CMs (like on our last cruise).

Hi Paula, thanks for the welcome!
We have been on (2) Wonder 4-night cruises before - the first one I don't even want to mention (I had a kidney stone during the cruise!!!), but the second one was fabulous and we both agree that Castaway Cay was our favorite part of the cruise!

Would love to hear everyone else's opinions!
