Anyhoo....2 of my older kids (18 and 21) just came home and I said "Hey...you guys know anything 'weird' that happens on April 20th ?' I'm sad to report that the rumour is VERY true and that BOTH my boys know all about it!!!!!

OK so neither DH or I knew anything about 420. Both of us would have been all over it when we were younger.

Now I called my 20 year old brother. He knows all about it. He is also at the doctor's office because he is so ill he can barely sit up. So he will not be joining in the fun tonight. Now my 19 year old brother is not answering the phone. I wonder if he is having to much fun to talk to me?

I have another thread about this because I didn't see this one. I teach HS and all the stupid potheads skip today. I guess I would wish all the responsible adults a happy day but in my world no responsible adult is still smoking pot.

At least you admit that you live in your own world . I know many responsible adults who smoke and a few not so responsible ones.


To all of you who never heard of it- It has been around for years, but just became a big "thing" about 7-8 years ago. Now that you heard of it you will see it everywhere- bumper stickers, t-shirts, decals, tattoos... even Bob Barker knows about 420!

hmmmm- That is what you think. I think it is very secretive among adults. You can't just come right out and discuss it. And that is too bad that society sees it that way-But everyone can discuss their drinking habits. Which I, for one, do not have one!

I think it is funny that you use the word "still" like it is only for kids/young adults. Why is it OK for responsible adults to drink but not to smoke-

You would be amazed at some of the people you think don't do it- but really do.


BTW- I am very responsible. I have no children by choice, I own my own home, pay my bills on time, have a full time job, same one for 12 years and am a very nice person....you would love me

I called dd15 after work and told her she has to be home at 4:20. She said she'll be at the baseball game with her friends. So I told her that I'm coming up to the game to make sure she's not doing what the rest of the kids in the world are doing. She better be at the game and not in the back alley.
