Any of you disney verterans know how long the Fireworks show are?

smeck- it depends on which show you want to see. dont mis fantasmic it is spectacular that one last w good hour maybe even more. most of the fireworks are at least half an hour if not 45 min for some. be sure to get your spot early bc they do fill up

we are definately excited here we watched the web cam yesterday so even more excited, then we got our docs today so now really excited i hope this time goes by fast

DD (Kaylee) has started packing her suitcase! She woke me up this morning on her way to school and said in two weeks "we'll be on the ocean"! She's not excited at all.
DH still needs to do some shopping, or he'll be going pantless!!
We leave in 11 days!

are you taking any candy for the lab? i am still trying to figure that part out like how much do we need, who exactly do we give it to etc. can anyone tell me?

No docs here either. I was hoping for today, but maybe tomorrow. DD and I are getting very excited, DH, not so much.

I read the bedbug thread and it made me very nervous. When we were in Indiana last week, I checked the beds thoroughly and had trouble sleeping the whole night! I should never have read that thread. I hope we don't have that problem on the cruise or at OKW! That would creep me out!

The weather sound great for the trip. I hope it stays that nice all week!

I'm planning to print the booklets this week, so if any of you want to add something, let me know soon. I also need to print my door signs and thank you cards. I always add a thank you card with my tips.

Hi Alisa,
We have a day in Los Angeles on the way over. We are going to do a tour of Hollywood and Beverly Hills.
We then fly to Orlando the day before the cruise.

Hi Ada,
Sorry you haven't got your docs yet. I can't believe I've already got mine because they had to travel a lot further than yours.
We fly in about 4pm. We may get in some pool time but it will all depend on how we are feeling after the flight and how well we have recovered from jet lag.
We are getting the DCL bus to the port from MCO. Are you doing this too?

Any of you disney verterans know how long the Fireworks show are?

The fireworks on the ship last about 15 minutes, or so. Obviously they can't do anything as spectacular as Wishes or Fantasmic, but it is pretty neat to see them out over the water.

Every time we've seen them they have been on the starboard side, but it may depend on the wind direction. They shoot them from the aft part of the ship and I do know that they turn the ship so that it is going into the wind. That way the sparks are blown back behind the ship.

early we can get going????? I know we can't board the ship until noon, but boy,
with all the excitement, how can I not be the first to board and see the

The first buses leave from the airport around 9:00 - 9:30, and it's not quite an hour's drive to the port.

I got our cruise doc's and I am a bit disappointed. I was expecting bells and whistles. Maybe some fireworks! All I got was a confirmation ticket and the luggage tags. Very anti-climaxtic (is that how you spell that?)!!
