:headache: Finding this thread reminded me how close we are to the trip...
Then reading some earlier threads and seeing other cruisers' final payment paid?? I received no reminder about final payment, so called TA this morning. Then was told final payment was due on 1/16 :confused3 So I paid today  Don't think I will use this TA again, my last 2 DCL were with Dreams, don't know what came over me to use someone new?? This is the big warehouse store TA, the person I talk to knew nothing about dining seating, Castaway Cay Club, etc. I'm feeling so lost this trip, I booked 'gty' so I don't even know where I'm going to be :sad2:

Sue

Sue, it's so easy to book on the internet, I would suggest that route in the future. That way you have a handle on everything and cuts out a third party if you want to make any changes.

OK, it's official, i'm in cruise mood...

..been surfing the cruise forum too much...
..had pre-cruise nightmare last night...forgot my camera bag:scared:
..been trying yesterday and today to get Palo ressie (I know...bad timing due to summer 2008 release)
..did get a quote for EB repo, at 10:30 got $11,423...no thank you very much!

What's everyone doing for Nassau excursion?? I had hope to do the Rose Island snorkle excursion but heard it has been cancelled. Last Aug, MY DS8 snorkle for the first time in Mexico and loved it, would like to snorkle with him again.

I really need to get all the final details ironed out for this vacation. I got sucked up in the frenzy that was Eastbound Panama Canal ressies for 2008 before I'm even done planning my 2007 vacation :rotfl2: The cruise portion of this vacation is done ... paid in full - CHECK, Palo ressies - CHECK, kids registered for clubs - CHECK. It's the WDW part after the cruise that I'm still futzing with :sad2:

I'm not sure what we'll be doing in Nassau ... maybe just hitting the straw market for a bit and mostly hanging on the ship. Don't forget, the ship is my sanity amidst vacation time with BOTH sets of DH's parents :crazy2:

Is it time to go yet?????

Made final payment, made parasailing for kids at CC, we've rented a room at Comfort Inn at Nassau, but not sure if we'll use it. Still need to make ressies for the days before the cruise. We're flying down on the 13th.
This is our first cruise...we can't wait!

Only 2 1/2 months to go! :woohoo: Our plans are pretty much made. I just need to book a car in FL and figure out how I'm getting to and from the airport on this end. Oh, and I also need to get travel insurance soon. I thought I was done!

I think we'll just stay on the ship in Nassau. We may go to the Straw Market for a little while also.

I would love to take one of the repo cruises, but college bills keep getting in the way!:sad2:

So did you get a EB repo ressie? I really wanted to especially when the initial pricing came out, it looks like our family of 4 could sail for under $10k, but when I got the actual quote of $11,430 I just couldn't do it. Maybe next time.

Hi all,

My family and I will be on the April 15-19 Wonder cruise. We can't wait! My daughter (or do I say DD) will be almost 10 at cruise time. My son (DS) will be 8. We are flying in from Manchester, NH on Saturday April 14th and will stay at the Raddison at the Port for 1 night.

I would love to get info and tips from the experts=you! Plus I would love to join your meet and greet! This will be my 2nd cruise but 1st for DH,DD and DS!!

I went ahead and booked Discover Atlantis. Hopefully my family and I will enjoy it.

Welcome AlisaP:) This is our first ever Disney Cruise. I have DD9 and DD5, we will definetly have to meet up,maybe our older daughters will hit it off. We are flying in from Albany,NY on Sunday.

We did get the EB repo ressie. :cool1: We were lucky. I was able to jump online right as reservations opened and grabbed a Cat 9 on Deck 2 without transfers, air or insurance for less than $7000 for 2Adults 2Kids. It really works out to be less per night than what we're paying for our SPHR on this cruise. Honestly, that was a HUGE selling point to my DH.

Thanks for the welcome kedz! What is Discover Atlantis? Is that the excursion at Atlantis booked through Disney cruise?

Hi AlisaP

This will be our first family cruise too. I have two daughters who will be 10 and 7
when we sail so I'm sure they would like to meet your kids.

We have also booked the Discover Atlantis excursion. From what I understand Atlantis is an amazing resort with a huge aquarium called the Dig. This tour provides transport to and from the resort and entry to the Dig. The beach and pools are off limits but you can explore the rest of the resort.

Hi AussieFan,

We would love to make new friends on the cruise. My DD will be 10 two weeks after the cruise. I think she would be really excited to have a friend or pen pal in Australia.:woohoo:

Do you really have to book an excursion to see Atlantis? I visited Atlantis in 2001. While the guests staying at Atlantis had to wear wrist bands to use the water slides and stuff, we did see alot of non-guests just walking around the dig and underwater tunnels to see the fish! I was hoping to take a taxi over and just walk around. $40 bucks seems like alot for just a tour! But maybe they are getting stricter on non-guests milling around!

The straw market in Nassau burned down after I visited in 2001. I wonder what it is like now!

Thanks for the welcome!

Poohssmum..Congrat on the EB repo, that's a great price, I also got a price for cat 9 at around 10:30 for over $9,000 so your price is excellent!

Welcome AlisaP, I have a son that's 8 so may run into your DS in the lab. He's into the typical, Gamecube, Gameboy, Pokemon stuff.

Debating between Atlantis (just the Dig) or snorkleing excusion in Nassau, what to do???:confused3

Thanks Spoon2003!

Sounds like our DS's are very similar. I hope they don't spend the whole cruise on the Gameboys!! It will be nice for the kids to have a friend to meet at the lab!!

Does anyone know if there is a bsketball hoop on the ship? My family loves to shoot around!

Also, who do I contact concerning the meet and greet? Or do I just show up?

Thanks,
AlisaP

Aussiefan, what time did you pick for Discover Atlantis? I picked the 11:00.

kedz
We are on the 11am as well. Hopefully we'll get back to the port in time to have a look at the shops and market.
The cruise is getting closer every day.

AussieFan,
Yeah,I'm hoping the samething. I would like to have a quick look around the Atlantis, then head to the shops. I'm glad to see you have daughters around my daughters age. My oldest is 8 almost 9 and my youngest is 5.

Hi this is Kayleigh. I am AlisaP's daughter. I am nine years old. :happytv: I can't wait for our cruise. I hope there is a basketball court to play on! :yay: Has anyone gone to the kids club before?:confused3 :rockband:
