4/15/2007 Anyone?

Same here...3 days isn't enough. We are doing MK on Thursday, EPCOT (w/ Evening EMH) on Friday, and AK on Saturday.

Hey...For sure we'll run into you two!! We have the same schedule..we want to try to squeeze in AK in the AM and MGM in the afternoon/evening on Saturday.

The weather guys are still talking snow/rain on Thursday, can't believe I have to worry about weather in April!! I think travel will be fine but DD's school band is playing at an outdoor concert!! :cold:

Ok, two more days. I can survive for just two more days. Although I need SOMEONE to fix :wizard: the weather forecast :sad2: I'm trying to keep a positive outlook here ... but jeepers, I wanna get to Florida. I need to check Southwest's schedule for Thursday and see what my other options might be to get down to Fort Myers if there are flight delays and cancellations

After the cruise we're spending 7 days at WDW. We're going to hit MK on Thursday and AK on Friday. Epcot is my favorite park, but we probably won't get there until Saturday. :confused3

I have to work until 3pm Friday and then Tommy will pick me up for the drive south. Can't wait to get outta here!

After my big Croc endorsement I won't be bringing mine. Four pairs and none of them match my outfits for this trip. I might have to pick up a Mickey pair at the WOD after the cruise. Can't wait to see y'all in your crocs!! :thumbsup2

We will be spending Thursday and Friday nights at SS. I want to go to the MK and Epcot for the Flower and Garden Festival. I didn't get much park time when we were down in January due to a virus that hit me so I have some catching up to do. Those of you going to the AK must try to go see the new Nemo Show. It is absolutely darling and darn clever to boot!

I hope you're having better luck, than I am, finding alternate travel plans. I have found flights available out of JFK on Saturday, but getting there could be a problem. I really don't want to do it, but I did check on one way car rentals as well...... the one way drop off fee is $425  It's at least 24 hours of driving time from Boston to the port, so we would have to leave Friday night and probably drive straight through.  The real "gotcha" is that I would have to cancel the ressie at the MCO Hyatt by Thursday afternoon, or get charged for it! The Radisson is the same deal... cancel by Thursday.

I would have never thought I'd be worrying about a snowstorm in mid-April. If we don't make it, I'm just hoping that DCL will let me move what we've paid to another week and just charge me a fee. I don't think the DCL travel insurance will cover it since we didn't book our air through DCL.

Great minds DO think alike!:thumbsup2

DD has been in her HS marching band for 4 years (DS was in for 4 years before her!) and we've sat outside in every kind of weather.:scared1: Good luck with that and dress warm. I had special extra-warm clothes for the competitions.

Wow! I'm jealous! I wish we had more time at WDW.

My lime green crocs really don't go with anything. Just ask DD, she hates them!:rotfl2: I think they are fun. I also bought light blue Crocs. They match more, but I still have a soft spot for the green.:lmao:

Gosh Ed, I'm praying that none of y'all gets caught out by the weather. That just can't happen. :grouphug:

I hope it doesn't come to that!:scared1: What a mess that will be!

I forgot to buy insurance before the deadline, so I have to hope everthing goes smoothly.:scared:

Thanks Sharon..... keep those prayers coming for all of us in the Northeast. The only positive. for us anyway, is that our flight doesn't leave until 5:30pm on Friday, so that would give the airlines a little while to get back on track

I hope it doesn't come to that! What a mess that will be!

You are right Judy..... it would be a mess. I'm a little concerned for Laurie (Miscoehill) and her family. I think they have a very early flight Friday morning from Manchester, NH and they are forecasting several inches of snow up there. I don't think that airport has ever closed because of weather, but that doesn't mean that Southwest won't cancel their flight.

As DW said this morning...... let's just hope it goes out to sea!

Don't worry ... I won't have any crocs with me too. My motto really is "Life's too short to wear ugly shoes". I know that some really like them, but that's just not a fashion statement I can embrace :confused3 My hope is that there aren't a ton of ladies wearing lime green crocs because I'll probably walk up to all of them saying, "Hi Judy, so nice to finally meet you." :rotfl:

Ed, I'm still crossing my fingers and hoping for some pixie dust with this storm coming. Our plans take us to FIL's house in Fort Myers for 3 days before the cruise. Right now Southwest is still showing seats available on a flight connecting through MCO (how ironic  ) that leaves Hartford at 1:00 Thursday afternoon. :wizard: I have no worries about missing the boat ... I WON'T let that happen. I'm more concerned about getting grief from FIL about missing time at his house. :sad2:

That's hysterical!!!:lmao: :rotfl2: I'll also be wearing a lime green shirt and I'm kind of hard to miss. Remember, I'm Pooh-sized!

Hope the snow will go away real soon for everyone out there!:tink:
Just think: Piratespirate: Wristbands:thumbsup2 and Crocs:cool1: oh,my!

We'll be at Downtown Disney on Thursday, Epcot on Friday, AK on Saturday and MK on Sunday. It's our first time there, and I know we won't have
enough time to see everything, but I'm very excited about Epcot!
If there is a DIS Meet @ Epcot, let us all know!!

5 more days
5 more days:yay:

SAFE TRAVELS, everyone:wizard:

I'll be looking for you and Christy. Will you both be wearing your Disney Crocs? I'll have my lime green Crocs on!:rotfl2:

I still can't find the green wristbands. Smeck, can you reserve one for me? DH & DD will never wear one.:confused3

You got it Mrs. Rose

I'll also be wearing a lime green shirt

I was shopping at Talbots yesterday, (for workclothes not vacation) and came across a bunch of lime green tops. Oh I was so tempted but resisted since I won't be able to wear it for work :rotfl2:

:worship: :worship: to the weather god for good weather :worship: :worship:

We take I95 all the way down from Richmond to Port Canaveral, or to Daytona and then I4 to Orlando when we are headed to the World. Either destination it's a 12 hour drive for us. Yeeeeee!

Y'all be careful coming down the road. Can't wait to meet up on Sunday!
