We have booked the 4/24/2010 Med cruise also
So we are B2B cruisers right now Whoohooo!!!!

Yeah, the BTB group is growing!

Oh BTW Auntie we are in the first seating for dinner.

Thank you everyone! This marks the beginning of my oh shoot - the cruise is right around the corner! this time in 2 months we (my family) will be packing and being told we have to get off the cruise the next day. So I know the cruise is coming quickly - yes now I will really freak out!

WOW!! I go to bed and 13 hours later you guys are posted into the middle of next week. At this rate poor Aunty may have to spend her time setting up a new page instead of planning and packing for her trip.

To those who have not yet been visited by the upgrade room assignment fairies Good luck I hope it is soon for you. This is our 4th cruise and 1st upgrade. I cannot complain, never in my wildest dreams did I think of getting a cat 4 room.

Did get the room # this morning, #6000. It is a HA, which does seem to have some nice perks in being bigger and the bathroom larger/roomier but does loose the sitting area/couch. I saw the pics of it on the stateroom virtual tour, have any of you stayed in this room? Thoughts?

Would you consider participating in the room tour? I would really like to see what a HA room looks like in person. Thanks for your consideration.

We got ours too. Upgrade from a Cat 7 to a Cat 6 on 6th deck. Neat. I figured they would pass over any and all cast members that are on this cruise.

For the lunch with the prizes - do you want me to go get those blue "1st place" ribbons for each catagory or do you want me to make certificates? I know someone mentioned wanting to be able to have something kinda small and maybe be able to put on the door. Both (ribbons or certificates) can come with magnets if the winner wants to put it on there door.

My girlfriend just returned from Barcelona a few weeks back and she lent me her Rick Steves book and as she was giving it to me she was saying lots of ATM's everywhere, credit cards widely accepted but remember you will need cash/currency/euros for the hoho bus. At least that's what I meant to say

No room assignment here yet either. . .Was on past midnight last night but had to be out all morning and am actually just home for an hour or so before I am off again but still NADA, bum! I want to know already.

I am off to catch up on WHAT?! 10 pages or so? you people are crazy today!

congrats to all of those with fantastic upgrades. will have to make sure to do the Cabin Cat. Tour for sure (is there a schedule for this??)

I don't think you are getting a Family room. Solo is so low in the cabin world.

Both my solo cruises, I went from a 12 to a 9. While a family on the same cruise stayed in the 12 and did not get an upgrade. So us solo people do get pixie dust sometimes.

Yeah, and I'm starting to PANIC because the darn Mickey Head template is nowhere to be found! I even posted a question on the main board. First time the DIS has failed me...

How big do you need the mickey head? I have a cricut that can cut it out at 5 1/2 inches, but a friend as one that can cut it out up to 11 inches.

I wish I had known we would get these kinds of upgrades handed out. I did not want to be moved to a porthole room at all or a split bathroom but would have loved a verandah who knew?

For all of you that remain in your Cat12's or 11's, come visit us!! We actually did like our room just fine last time!

WE GOT OUR UPGRADE!!!!!! WHOO HOOO!!!
We went from a cat 11 to cat 6. And the best part is that my parents got upgraded also and we now have connecting staterooms.

What a great feeling. We have sailed DCL 9 times in that past and have never been upgraded.
