Do you prefer the 4:00 or 6:15 HDDR show and why? Currently 4:00 would be Category 1 and 6:15 would be Category 3 unless I can switch to a 1 or 2 before our trip. I have 4 and 6 year old first-timers and will be doing HDDR on our 1st park day (MK). We plan on rope dropping that morning and have a full MK day planned for the following day as well before we have a shorter, quasi recovery day at EP. I want to make the most of our time without running my kids into the ground (we have 5.5 park days) but want to keep in mind it's our first day and I know they'll be excited. So, leave MK and head straight to HDDR for the 4:00 show and then call it an early night? Leave MK in time to make the 6:15 HDDR and then to bed? Leave MK earlier, head back to the hotel for a little rest - we're staying at BRV so it's close - and then do the 6:15 HDDR? I'd love some input. Thanks!

We've done both. With little ones on their first day with a full day planned for the next, I would do 4 pm. The show is two hours long. If you do 6:15 pm, you probably won't be back to your villa until about 8:45 pm, maybe later. If you do the 4 pm and they still have a little energy, there is a playground and the horse stables next door.

I think that the category 1 seats are worth it, so I would go with the show that guarantees you can get Cat.1

with your kids one thing to remember cat 3 seating is upstairs. kids will have to walk up and down the stairs including to use bathroom which is outside the Hall. I know my 5 year old granddaughter can not make it thru a meal without bathroom stop
