3yr old on BTM?

Hi guys we're off on our next trip in a few weeks and just doing some planning. Our ds is 3 and a half(ish) and loves roller coasters and theme parks. He is just over a metre tall, is he big enough to ride BTM with us? Anybody any experience of taking younger ones on BTM? Thanks

BTM is "not recommended for children under 3" but as most things, the rules are actually based on size. I believe the minimum is 105cm or thereabouts (not entirely sure) so I guess you should be fine?

Just had the tape measure out and he's 1.06m and is 3yrs 4mths. Should be fine?

Hard to say. We took DS on BTM for the first time when he was 4.5. No crying but he was NOT happy. Have you ridden the ride before? If is very fast but I think the dark and noise are the biggest problems for young children. We have seen many little guys and girls coming of in tears

My youngest loved it on her first trip aged 4 and it has been her favorite ride ever since her sister who was 9 that trip hated it and only tried it again in her teens....you never can tell....it was the jerking about she didn't like

He's a proper dare devil though for his age! He's ride the troublesome trucks coaster at Drayton manor which goes fast. Just watched a ride on video of BTM and it doesn't seem to go as fast as some of the coasters he's rode before! I love BTM!

My DD2 first rode BTM at 3y4m when she only just barely made the height limit. Before the train had stopped at the end she was asking to do it again. Same child laughed her way though ToT, loves Crush's Coaster and can't wait to do the bigger coasters (only another 20cm to grow ).

My older two are far more cautious and are only starting to do the thrill rides now while DH flat out refuses to any of them!

On the other hand we have scarred one of our twins for life this trip and now she doesn't trust us.

He'll be 3yrs 5m when we go and he's tall for his age. What is the height restriction for BTM? DS is 1.06m

The minimum height to ride is 1.02m
