BUT.

That is almost exactly the tattoo I would get!!! Very very close to my friend's drawing that I have never used! WOW. It looks amazing and I love it on you.

Thanks!!! I totally get that, I was not a tattoo person when I was younger. I thought about it occasionally and always said that I would get a tree if I did get one. As the years passed, it just started to grow and grow until I was thinking of exactly how I wanted it. And here I am...a tattooed person!

That is a gorgeous tattoo! I really want to get one, but I couldn't figure out what or where....two very important questions! I've lost a bunch of weight, so I decided once I'm pretty much where I want to be, then I'll get one....hopefully by the end of summer! Yours is beautiful!

Thanks! I have lost a bunch of weight as well, so it was my gift to myself! I spent so much time thinking about what I wanted...20 YEARS!

I did find an owner. I stalked the rent boards like craaazy. And happened upon one right as she posted her points. I jumped...and by the next day- all her points were gone. There is another forum I found that does a lot of posting of points to rent from owners . Let me know if you want it in a PM sometime closer to when you are looking if you don't know of it already.

I'll have to do that when I'm ready. I have a little bit of time, 11 month window doesn't open for us until the 23rd, but I may have to wait even longer b/c of money. It's a lot to come up with all at once and this far out!

I'm already planning a 2nd! Nothing like this though, when I finish running the Princess Half next February, I would like to get a little 13.1 on my ankle or something to commemorate it, but it won't be anything like this one!

My 1st tattoo is a frog. I got it when I was 18. I still love it, but I'm also glad it is easily hidden...LOL. It's just a goofy cartoon frog that I didn't put much thought into since I was only 18!

My 2nd tattoo I got at the age of 29. It is the Gemini symbol (my astrological sign) and positioned on my upper left back/shoulder (about where yours is, just not as big). This picture was taken right before he put the bandage over it. I can't find any other pics at the moment.

My 3rd tattoo I want the double infinity symbol (2 infinity symbols intertwined). It's pretty cool. I'm undecided where I want it because I have to be careful for employment reasons. My current employer doesn't mind visible tattoos but I am currently looking for another job and I don't want to limit my job possibilities.

Oooh, lovely! Yep, I'm already planning another (I really thought people were joking when they said it was addicting!) and I'll probably do another shoulder b/c I can cover that with sleeves if needed although I rarely have to cover myself for my job...the dogs and cats don't mind!

OMG that is a beautiful tattoo. I too have thought about a tattoo but just never got around to it. But last summer before my 42 bday and after a bunch of personal/divorce things were ironed I did it.

That's awesome! I ALMOST had him put a little hidden mickey in my tree limb somewhere, but decided against it. LOVE the design on the mickeyhead!

Thank you. DD(19) designed it and the artist didn't change much. He changed the design of the flowers and improved the flow of the scroll work. If you look closely at the bleeding hearts, one is different. That was his nod to her design. It was really cool.

Chapter 16: Everybody Dance Now...again?!?!

Where were we? I think that is the longest I have ever gone without an update...what was it, 3 days??

So, after a glorious afternoon at the pool, I drug Savannah back to the room to get cleaned up for our evening at Magic Kingdom! She had such a nice afternoon at the pool, but since it's winter in the midwest and she hasn't gotten much sun, she got a little pink on the cheeks!

So I had to laugh b/c she was texting her friends pictures telling them how SUNBURNED she was and that she's never been so sunburned in her life (which she hasn't!) I shouldn't laugh, but she's so brown-skinned from Rey's side of the family, she's never burned and for her to think that her little pink cheeks were a BAD sunburn was funny to me.

We headed out to MK, which we figured would be pretty busy, but we were prepared and we had a plan that included DESSERT! YUM!!! The crowd...

and as always, I can never pass up an opportunity to get a shot of balloons!

Ok, so looking at the pic of Mainstreet, you can see it was about 5:40. Well, out of nowhere they were blocking off Mainstreet and what looked like a parade was headed our way??? I was confused, but I realized it was a "dance party" type parade, I've seen them do around 10am as well(Move It/Shake It), but never at this time? I think they were trying to draw crowds away from the rides since it was pretty busy? We watched for a bit as they came down Mainstreet...

We watched for a bit but then headed towards Tomorrowland b/c we had things to do! Buzz return time was 6:25, so we grabbed FPs and headed right over for a relaxing ride on one of our favorites! We walked right on...

As we rode around, we could see Move It/Shake It in the hub.

As we neared the end, Savannah heard music and we looked over and saw Stitch's Dance Party area...and a familiar face! It was the DJ from the night before at DTD! Savannah was VERY excited as she had already mentioned wanting to go back to DTD instead of MK that night but we had Dessert Party reservations so we couldn't. Off of the People Mover and straight to the Dance Party we went!

More dancing for us! We had a fantastic time, more Cupid Shuffle, Thriller, and Walking like an Egyptian!

I really meant to email Disney about these Dance Parties. It was the first time we really encountered them on a trip and we LOVED.THEM. (I'm sure you couldn't tell from the title of my TR!) But, for shy people like Savannah & I, it really takes a lot for us to let loose in public and dance...and Disney does that for us! I cannot think of another place and time that both of us would stand there and dance, so it was just really special and fun for us! We couldn't get enough!

We did, however, realize that it was time for Buzz and that we had a Dessert Party to get to, so we pulled ourselves away to ride Buzz.

When we finished with Buzz, we had a little more time and Savannah begged to go back to the dance party...so we ran back over for MORE!

The timing was perfect though b/c as I was about to have to drag her away from something she was really enjoying, it clouded up and started getting windy, threatening to rain. I suggested we head over to our next Adventure...Wishes Dessert Party! We left the dancing a little regretfully, but we were ready for some Dessert!

Up next...Fireworks and Sugar...how can this get any better?!?!?
