Well I have just got back from Akl 3 wks stay and it was amazing we got a free up grade to a Arusha savannah view for both rooms we booked and had animals everyday,we was right where they fed the animals in the morning and at night .
The lobby was amazing. The staff was hit and miss some was great and others were damn right awful, I would go back and stay again for a few nights but my children twins 5 and oldest 8 asked if we could stay at Pop instead next yr like we usually do! Jiko was terrible worst meal of the whole holiday such a shame .

have loads of pics I just need to figure out how to post them :rotfl2: im not very tech .

lol I use photo bucket to upload mine seems the easiest

We have stayed at AKL twice, once at Jambo and also Kidani, great resort. Likr you we were not impressed with Jiko but many rave about it.

We will definatly go back but only for a few nights I would not do 3 wks their again it was too long to spend at that resort with young children I need a better counter service, My husband and I go out to eat at the diffrent Disney places most night and love the signature ones ( except Jiko eww) but the boys are always too tired and prefer character lunches or breakfasts so we do them with the boys, my mum bless her also gets too tired after a long day at the parks and would rather have a quick bite and a good nights sleep ( thats how we manage to do so many nice restaurants) and she got bored very very quickly with Mara they did not even change the menu once in a 3 wk stay but Pop Century does and has a much better food court we might even go back their lol

Was there 4 weeks ago and stayed for 2weeks we had a savannah view room(4329) and saw plenty of animals and birds.Mainly used the quick service restaurant which was OK and ate in Boma once and thought the food was awful! We did use other restaurants in Disney of which Le Cellier, California Grill and Artists Point where the highlights.

Hi I have no idea what a trip report is ....oh dear Im rubbish maybe by my next holiday in 2012 I would have figured it out lol , would love to do one I will have to have a lok at somebody elses and try and figure out what it is I need to do and how to do it :rotfl2:
