First, I want to tell you how sorry I am about your loss. In 2000, I lost a baby (I named him/her Lee) and it was one of the hardest times of my life.

I didn't make it on to wish everyone a Merry Christmas before hand, but I hope that you all had wonderful holidays! I had a really great Christmas myself, and it made me once again be thankful for my family.

Teeny update on my thoughts...

The more that I think about it, the more that I want to go to WDW in December with DH. I have to still talk with him and get the details down, but it looks like WDW (and possibly a cruise) is the front runner!

I have done a teeny bit of research (in between Christmas stuff and cleaning up after it all) and prices look good for September and December.

As for our other trip options:

1) As much as I'd really love to go to Aulani, I don't think that finances will be in order to take the trip that we want next year. I know that I won't go to Hawaii on a regular basis so when I do go, I want to make sure that I do it the best way that I can. This includes an ocean view room and a longish stay (probably 12ish days). So this trip might have to go on the back burner for a few years.

2) I would love to see California, but I'm just not "feeling it" right now. More research and a talk with DH is needed before I make any real decisions, but I honestly think that I would rather go back to WDW.

That is a great thing to be on your bucket list! I haven't been to WDW at Christmas (before this trip) in 10 years and I forgot how amazing it is. Now I want to go again and take DH. I hope that you make it there for Christmas soon!

WDW at Christmastime is the best! I have been lucky enough to spend two trips at WDW during Christmastime and they are my absolute favorite! Hence, why we chose December for our trip in 2013!

I also love WDW at Christmas - I've been a few times over the years, but before my 2012 trip, it was 10 years between Christmas trips!

Well I may need to change the title of this PTR… it looks like the 3rd time will NOT be the charm.

After finding out that DH doesn't even really want to take a Disney related trip, I found out that we are losing a large portion of our household income - again. We live in an area with one of the highest unemployment rates in the country and companies just keep closing. Nobody's job is secure anymore. So unless I can find a job that pays well very soon, it looks like this trip is going to have to be postponed. I am still going to keep planning things like where I want to go, and try to figure out the cost - because I WILL get there, it just is going to be delayed if we don't have the income to pay for it right now. I really thought that we could turn a page and start on a new foot for 2013. It was supposed to be a better year than 2012, but so far, it isn't impressing me.

I'm sorry that this post is such a depressing one. I hope that I will have better news soon
