3rd Times a Charm! Mar. 8-14..lots of pics

The quality is just OK. I got one 2 years ago. I did a scrapbbok last year and it took me forever, and buying all the cute stuff was costly. I would just buy it here and there when I had coupons for Hobby Lobby to try to cut cost.

You are limited to 20 pages. I just put my code in, and it charges 10 for shipping and it did charge me for each additional page I made. I had heard a guy just do this last month and was charged no shipping and no additional page charge. UGH! But I know the full price of the CD has gone up in price since then too. So this book is really costing me more than I wantd to pay. LOL! But I did a scrapbook last year and put mega buck in it, and actuall just finished it before my trip this year, so the is less time consuming, I guess? I don;t think I'll do it again, since I need more than 20 pages, and I really restricted how many pics I put the dumb thing.
I'm mostly mad there is a shipping charge. I thought that was included in the price of the book when you pre ordered. Maybe I'll write and ask before I put the order through.

That's good to know! I liked how it was specifically Disney but it sounds like it's going to be costly and not worth the $. Yeah--I used to scrapbook but now I blog turn it into photobooks--I love how easy it is! And I've kept up with it a lot better this way!!

If you go to this site, http://www.disneyphotopass.com/previsitcdplan.aspx , you can preorder the CD and photobook together. My total was $158.95 with tax, and this deal includes free shipping. The photobook is also unlimited pages. I am splitting the cost of the photo CD with my SIL, and I am keeping the book. She would rather scrapbook anyway.:banana::banana:

Thats the link I went too and ordered. It does say now that I look at it that shipping is an addtional charge and the book is only 20 pages. My cost was 149.95. I didn't have tax (I don't think) I wonder why you did? It also says you are supposed to order the CD and the book in seperate orders? It must not take more than one code at a time? :confused3
It just makes me mad because I know others ordered last month and got the unlimited pages and free shipping.

I also see you are more than a month away from your trip. Did you know that the codes expire 60 days from the purchase? It's another tidbit they don't tell you up front. Yo ucan still use it if it expires, but you have to contact photopass to reinstate it and I heard it can be a pain.

We made our way up front, and of course I made my family stop for a couple of Photopass pics with the lit up castle in the background. :goodvibes I always love these pictures. But one guy must’ve had wrong settings or something, because our faces are blurred in every shot he took. And Claire shut her eyes and pretended to sleep :rotfl:. I guess none of those will be Christmas card material. LOL! :)

It was close to 1 (closing time) and I still had so much energy. I wasn’t tired in the least bit! I wish it was open later, though I don’t think my family could’ve made it any longer.

I tried to shoot a few pictures on the way up front.

We then headed out to the bus stop

busstop.jpg

It was a VERY full bus. Claire dozed off on the trip back. The bus was playing music and one of the Chipmunks songs came on. Claire perked right up and goes “Chipmunks!” And began to sing. LOL!

We got back to the room and settled down. Well, sort of. Claire was wound up. :goofy: I think lights finally went out at 2. And it took me quite a while to fall asleep. I just have so much adrenaline going when I’m at Disney. I need no sleep. Why can’t I be like that at home? :confused3 I finally drifted off and slept soundly for 3 hours. After that I was ready to be going again. But I tried to sleep again and dozed off and on till 7:30 AM.

We had a great 1st day. I think we got a lot done, but was disappointed we didn’t get as many rides done as I thought I would. We almost always do Dumbo, Pooh and Haunted Mansion on EMH nights since the line is not bad, but we missed those. But we did do some new stuff. We never did make it onto Haunted Mansion, (Claire just didn’t want to do it) or Dumbo, (as the lines for it are awful in the day) during our stay. We did do a lot of fun stuff though.

On to day 2!

Day 2, March 9, 2009
Monday

Our plans for the day were….
To let Claire sleep in as long as possible (waking her around 11:30 if she slept that long)
Going to Bibbidi Bobbiddi Boutique at 1:30
Going to Exposition Hall after the makeover to get photos
Eating at 1900 Park Fare at 4:40 for dinner
Going back to the park till close (8PM) and doing whatever we could during that time.

Of course all doesn’t go as planned, but still works out just fine!

I finally got up around 7:30 after trying to sleep more, but just KNOWING I couldn’t.
I showered and was dressed and ready about 8:15. While I was getting ready, Claire was talking in her sleep. She kept saying “it’s so beautiful.” LOL! Wonder what she was dreaming about. I also set out her “gift” from the Fairy Godmother.
I then went on my morning walk to take pictures while DH and Claire slept.

Here is our door/room.

See this guy to the right of the picture? He has a power washer. It is basically right outside our room. Promptly at 8:30 he turns it on to wash the pool deck! UGH. DH was NOT happy about that.

Then off to the food court to get some hot chocolate. They use to have apple juice at the fountain…so you could get it in your refillable mug, but it is gone now. UGH! I think they replaced it with PowerAde fruit punch. I’m not a big PowerAde fan. I even asked a CM and she was surprised it was gone, and said it must’ve just happened recently.

I next made my way through Everything Pop and bought the Castle for Claire. I figured I might as well do it right away, so I didn’t forget. I had to ship it home anyways, so it wouldn’t be taking up any space in our room. It arrived at my house exactly one week later.

Here is a stack of them. Notice there are two people in the background with them at the registers. These things were selling like hotcakes. I think another 3 sold while I paid for mine.

Thanks for letting me know about the 60 day thing. I ordered the package two weeks ago, so I will probably be right at the 60 day mark. I will try contacting today and see if I can get it extended.:confused3 I wish I had known that and I would have waited to pre order. I also didn't have to do mine in two seperate orders. I wonder why yours was different?

I can't believe you got so much done on your first day. Especially on so little sleep. I can't wait to see what time everyone got up and going on day 2. It sounds like you still made it up early. :scared1: Wish I was there right now.

I'm so jealous you get to buy a castle! I don't think DS would be into the castle, but maybe for myself!! :rotfl:

Great pics and great stories!! Cindy was so nice to your DD!!

First I have to laugh about the no sleep at Disney. I feel like a crack head at Disney because I just can't rest. When I get home I'm usually exhausted though :goodvibes. Sounds like a great night at MK, love the pics. I wonder what Clarie was dreaming about  too cute. That is a great deal on those castles :thumbsup2 if Kaylee didn't just turn 9 I would have one shipped here. Looking forward to BBB update.

.

I did one transaction for the pre pay part, but it says when you actuall order it and put the codes in they are to be seperate, which I am assuming means it won;t take more than one code at a time? I may try both and see if it works or not. If not I'll be ordering seperate, and probably paying seperate shipping costs. UGH! It used to not have shipping costs for the CD, but I bet it does now. When I totaled my share group, I only included a shipping charge for me to ship them out, not a shipping charge to get the CD. I guess I've learned for next time. :confused3

Thanks everyone. We did have sucha busy day, but we really didn't go at a super break neck pace. LOL! If I was alone, it might've been much worse. :rotfl2: We had so much fun. I need to get onto the BBB pics so I can post them. I took a ZILLION of them. Sadly some aren;t that grand, but some I'm happy with. The photopass guy did a great job. Again, once I get the CD, you all will be in photo overlaod, as I will post a ton of those too.

GREAT report so far! Claire is so cute! I cannot wait to read the rest!

I then went on to take pictures inside Everything Pop (the gift shop).:hippie:

This is new. They redid some stuff over the last year, and this area was added for package pick up.

I LOVED this stuff. I really love plaid. But I thought it was kind of pricey, so I never did get any of it. It was so cute though.

wow pop looks great I think I know why you love it so much.:thumbsup2

Ah, Pop! Those pictures certainly bring back memories! I haven't been there since 2006!! I'm going to be staying at SSR, but these pictures make me want to come back here!:sad2:

I took a quick shot of the arcade

I then had to take a potty break. This is hanging in the bathroom hallway. I couldn’t get a very good shot though, where I could take my time, because evidently that bathroom is a hot spot. People kept walking back and forth, so I just finally clicked and hoped I got something. LOL! :rotfl:

And these are the lights in the bathroom. I thought it was pretty. LOL! :)

I totally forgot to post this when I was posting about CRT. They take a picture in the lobby, like I said, and then at dinner they bring you a photo in a folder for you to keep.
This is it.

It was really nice. But somehow I got part of the folder wet that night, so now it’s crinkled a bit. But the pictures weren’t damaged!
