3rd grade treat idea please

my dd class is having a Christmas Party next Friday and they had the kids sign their parents up for something to bring~ well anyways my dd signed me up to bring chocolate cupcakes and then the teacher called and said someone else was bringing cupcakes I could bring whatever I wanted sooooooooooo I need a new Idea. plates napkins and cups are taken care of someone is bringing juice, fruit ,cheese and crackers, cookies, finger jello. So I need an Idea please~ also you should know this about me I love to make really creative things even if the kids wont eat it so throw any ideas my way. Thanks alot

Well you have Rice Krispie treats, cut them out in festive shapes sprinkled with colored sugar.

Nestle Tollhouse cookies are always a hit.

Remember you can always bring something non edible too.

I am DD's 3rd grade room mother so I made our class list with teacher help. In addition to what you listed we have chips and dip, veggie tray, mini pigs in a blanket, candy, and pretzel rods dipped in chocolate with sprinkles.

With that much food, I suggest treat bags to take home. You can get little plastic bags with Christmas decorations on them and fill with candy and prewrapped goodies, like like little debbie cakes.

Or some type of non edible item, pencils or erasers or some little toy that you can find.

I would not take any more food that needs to be eaten at the party.

I think I may bring in mini pizzas for the kids ~ the party is at 10:00 and school gets out at 11:30 so the kids wont have lunch this way I still get to make something but not sweet. Thanks for your replys I really appreciated them.

good idea. I took bagel bites to my 3rd graders Halloween party and they were a big hit.
