I am wondering if there will be the same offer for my trip August 14-16 to buy 2 full days and get 3rd day free?
What do you think? What were the offers last Aug?

Once Harry Potter expansion opens this summer, you wont likely see specials. They wont need to offer them to bring people in.That August timeframe is busy enough and still summer season

I agree. The current specials are to get people in the parks before the big grand opening of Diagon Alley.

O.K. am I missing something with the Diagon alley, is there a new ride in this areas or is this just what I suspect...themed shopping area? If it is not a new ride not sure it is that exciting. That is just me though...I hate when Disney does this too themed or not it just does not do it for me. I was not all that impressed with the new Fantasyland for that matter.

Thanks for answering, I appreciate it:goodvibes

Diagon Alley will have two new rides, two restaurants and some new shops...it's a completely new section of the park. However...I can guarantee Diagon Alley will bring in more people than the new Fantasyland ever dreamt of. Plus you're going during a peak travel season and the parks will be very crowded. I understand your frustration but during a busy travel period discounts are not necessary to get people into the parks.

Thanks for answering:thumbsup2 I just researched it and came back to edit my post.;) At least there will be a cool ride. I get it busy season and all. Believe me if I could go in Sept, I totally would. ;)

It will be worth it if the ride is as cool as the Hogwarts ride. I just saw pics of buildings and thought to myself... ugggh, shopping. KWIM? I just would rather not be there the first month it is launched. So here is hoping at least a June opening.

The Gringotts ride will be up in August right?

There will be an escape from Gringott's indoor themed dark ride as well as the new Hogwart's Express adventure ride (way more than it seems) that will go between the two Harry Potter areas in the two parks. There will be the Leaky Cauldron, Knockturn Alley, Weasley's Wizard Wheezes, Ollivander's, Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlour, the Knight Bus as well as outdoor entertainment. A big announcement is coming this week with more details. Everything is expected to open this summer, probably June.
