I’m going to WDW for 6 days (5 park days and 1 MNSSHP day). I have FP+ booked for all 6 days. As we know, we can book FP+ on the day of MNSSHP from 4-7pm because the party does not start until 7pm.

When I booked FP+ for my party day, it gave me the option for FP+ for the whole day (morning time slots). Here are my current FP+ selections:

3:00 – 4:00pm
4:00 – 5:00pm
5:15 – 6:15pm

I tried to pick FP+ starting at 4pm so it’d be 4-5, 5-6, and 6-7pm but could not find the a third selection for the 6-7pm time slot. Here are my questions:

1. I do not have a park ticket for that day (only a party ticket), can I still have a 3-4pm FP+?
2. Will that “messes” with the system and count that as my park day? I don’t want to show up at a park on my last day and being told that I haven’t bought a ticket

You can have one, but you won't be able to redeem it unless you get some pixie dust and are allowed in before 4:00 and in enough time to actually make it to whatever ride you have the FP+ for.

FWIW, FP+ distribution ends at 6:30 on party nights. So you should be looking for 3:30-4:30, 4:30-5:30, and 5:30-6:30 slots. You can't fit the third one in when you start looking at 4:00 because the windows overlap, but if you push it back by a half hour you should be OK. You can make all the FP+s you want before 4:00, but since they won't let you into the park before you'd have a chance to redeem them, they'll go to waste.

If I'm reading this correctly, I think it's because the computer doesn't know which day u won't be in the park. For example we are arriving Sunday and leaving Friday: techinically 6 days but we only have 5 day passes because we don't plan on going into the park on Sunday. When I made my fast pass selections it listed Sunday as an option for days to pick.
I have never been to Disney so this is my first time doing all this but that is my thought!

I've heard that you can arrive 15 minutes later than the return window and my first selection is at Town Square Theater right near the entrance so I can still make it.

I am curious about this. In order to 'activate' your MB for FPP in park don't you have to enter the park using your MB? Since you won't be using your MB to enter the park but will be using your hard ticket, I wonder if you will be able to use those FPP's. Seems like you shouldn't technically be able to do that without redeeming a park ticket for the day. I am really curious about the technology and not judging in anyway!

There is no activation with entry.

You're most likely not going to make it scedule it with a better time within the 4-7 time range.

It's because the FP system identifies the specific date that the party ticket is valid and opens the booking window for the complete day. The system can't narrow it down to three hours nor completely block it from the FP system. Having a Party ticket is a hidden perk in regards to scheduling FPs.

You 'can' get a FP+ for 3-4PM, but you aren't going to be able to use it because with a MNSSHP ticket, you can't get into the park until 'about' 4PM. You have to enter thru the turnstiles that are specifically marked for the party, that's how they know to use your MNSSHP party ticket for entry instead of a regular park day. You'd be better off getting a 330-430, 430-530 and 530-630 or soemthing like that, but in the end, you probably won't actually really NEED any of them except for A&E and 7DMT

Unless you encounter a VERY benevolent CM at TST Greeter position, there is no (before or after) grace period for Mickey or Tinker Bell.

Thanks. I'm gonna stalk MDE like crazy to see if any time slots open up. They only have morning FP+ left

I was able to change my FP+ to 3:10-4:10, 4:10-5:10, and 5:15-6:15. Woo hoo!!!! :worship:

Thank you, everyone. You've all been a great help!

We had SDMT last year at 3:05-4:05 and made it on a Tuesday night party fwiw. It is possible but I dragged my wife up Main Street.
