From reading a recent Navigator, I think that the first night is casual, second night is tropical/pirate, third night dress-up. How do you reconcile that with say Triton's, the most formal dining, if you happen to be there let's say on Pirate Night or the first night, casual? I hope that makes sense!?!

No, thats not how it works...You don't know your dining rotation until you get your KTTW card. You may have Triton's on your first night. Everyone has a different dining rotation. If it does happen that you have Pirate Night on the night that you go to Triton's, then I would just change to something more casual after dinner. If your kids want to wear Pirate gear at dinner...what's the harm. Tritons is just as fancy as you want to make it. We will be going in three weeks and I am packing a little more formal clothes for that night then we normally wear. Normally I am in a skirt and sandels and my husband is in a long sleeved shirt.
Hope this helps. :Pinkbounc

You are right in that the navigator states the first night is casual, the second is pirate/tropical and the third is dressy. We noticed very few people following this, but more following their dining rotation. We were in tritons on pirate night, we wore the bandanas :) and we were in Animators Palate for dressy night. Dh wore Khakis and I had a skirt and nice top on, we didn't feel out of place at all.

Yes, that is supposedly the new rotation for dress, although on our last cruise, I didn't see many people dressing up on the last night. I don't think most of them even paid attention to the navigator.
