We just saw it Friday in 3D and I was very disappointed.
Other than added "depth", there were no specific 3D effects.
IMO, it's not necessary to see Toy Story 3 in 3D.
There are no 3D effects in most 3D movies these days - that isn't the point. They are not like Mikey's Philharmagic with things flying out into the audience - the 3D is used exclusively for depth, not for things to jump out at you. (With few exceptions limited mainly to children's or horror movies.) I like the added depth, personally.
