3D is UP!!!!!!!

Can't wait to try this! Can you all let us know what your using for puters if it is running good or bad.... I am afraid to try on my Vista... with Vista EVERYTHING runs so slow

After downloading everything, and checking the Gallery settings, the maps are there, but I still cannot view in 3D.

Must be a firewall setting or something on my computer. I have Norton 360.

Oh well...

Ok, so I don't get it either. I loaded Google Earth (took FOREVER) I'm in and I followed the post about unselecting the layers except the disney ones, and I'm at ground level, and some things look 3Dish, but not at all photo real -it is kind of shadowy bldgs with odd shapes, but nothing that actually LOOKS like MK. What am I missing? My DH is a goodle earth master, but I am not, and he is not around. Suggestions on something else I should be selecting? I'm on Main Street USA, but it doesn't look like it.

Ok, apparently I needed to be more patient. I let it sit for a while, and things are starting to show up! my bad for jumping the gun. Patience is a virtue I do not excel at - I want it NOW!

So any way we can get an image of Kaht Kam anywhere in the parks? I think we need a picture of Kaht Kam at each entryway...

I just wanted to say thanks guys, for letting me know about this. I should be studying for finals and instead im sitting here downloading google earth on my new mac (which the DIS convinced me to get) and am completely distracted. Boy the DIS sure can be a bad influence eh?

Oh ya...to set the mood a little bit.

Oh yea....I am glad they didn't have the internet when I was in college (wow I sound OLD! ) I never would of made to class...oh wait I didn't.

I've got Vista + 3GB RAM, and it's horribly slow. It's much faster on the XP with only 1 GB RAM.

I got 50gig with 35 still free, dual processor, and XP. It's still is painfully slow. I had the last version of google version and it was fast. Everything slowed down when I upgraded to the new version even if I'm looking somewhere other than Disney.
