Hi guys :goodvibes

Our DD's (6 & 4) don't do anything 3D :3dglasses

If they decide that they would like to give 3D a go, which would you say is the most fun 3D experience that might convert them? and hopefully not scar them for life :lmao:

Ali :goodvibes

Yup i second that!! Lol i txted my boyfriend earlier and said i can't wait for PhilharMagic and he texted back BEST 3D EXPERIENCE IN THE WORLD!! :thumbsup2

Absolutely Philharmagic - it is the most unbelievable thing, I love watching the little ones trying to catch The Little Mermaid's gems

And that apple pie smell - yum

Believe me, your kids will love it.

I would agree that it is the best experience for breaking someone in gently.
It's Tough to be a Bug, Shrek and Honey I Shrunk The Kids all have elements to them that make the grown ups jump and scream - so probably not a good choice for kids for a first time show.

PHILHARMAGIC!!!!

Eeeee, nothing scary happens or jumps under your seat etc.

It's the BEST attraction Disney have ever made! EVER!! I am going to find time to watch it on my wedding day morning!! I love it THAT much! Even Jack comes out with goosebumps all over his big hairy man arms and a dreamy smile on his face.

Brilliant :thumbsup2 - thanks for the advice, so glad I asked as I have never done Philharmagic :confused3:confused3 Don't know why?? Can't even say that the name rings a bell??? How odd! :confused3 Is it tucked away somewhere or have I just missed it?!?!? :confused3 Is it a continuous show or just on at selected times of the day??

Thanks guys :goodvibes

Ali :goodvibes

PS I am absolutely baffled as to how I have missed this???? I've been to Disney six times???????

OMG, how have you managed to miss it???? It is in Fantasyland, right opposite Cinderella's Carousel. You absolutely must see it, you can get a FP for it but there are continuous shows (lasting about 15 minutes) all day.

Ali, I do NOT want to read that you have come back from a seventh visit having not done it do you hear ;)

We are guilty of this as well.
We have just been for our 5th trip and went in it for the first time, and only then because I just happened to see the sign for it and remembered reading on here that it is supposed to be worth a visit.
Once again the Dis'ers were correct :thumbsup2

Sir, yes, sir! :lmao: :goodvibes

Orders received and understood :rotfl: :goodvibes

I really am gobsmacked that I have missed it :confused3 Perhaps when we get there and I see 'it', it might turn out that I thought it was something else and have therefore discounted it without having a good look :confused3

Me baffled :confused3

Kenny and Ali, I think you need to admit everything you've said here in the "What's your Disney shameful secret?" thread! :rotfl:

Also Toy Story Mania that will break them in!! they would love it :thumbsup2

I will admit if I hadn't been excited to ride it I probably wouldn't have noticed it, it doesn't stand out much....

The wife and I loved Philarmagic, one of the best compliations of Disney things in all the parks imo as it brings most of our favourite characters and films together

Pure Disney magic

Be sure NOT to take them to Its Tough To Be a Bug if this is their first 3D. I had to leave halfway through with my seven year old last year. As an adult, I found it hilarious, but it is likely to upset the younger crew -especially if this is their first experience of 3D. Did anyone mention the Muppets at DHS? Nothing frightening there either. :)

Tough to be a bug still scares DS aged 15, scared him for life :goodvibes

Another is Honey I shrunk the audience, he has a fear of snakes, took him in there when he was about 6-7 years old, still won't go back in age 15.:rotfl2:

Unfortunately even though I love Philarmagic I don't get the full effect as I can't see 3D, I asked my optician about it and she said some people can't, we just see it as if its a normal flat 2D picture.:sad1:

Muppets 3D, Philarmagic - both great.......

ITTBABug - I am more scared than the kids - they loved it - they HATED Honey I shrunk the kids. That snake is toooooooooo real....
