It is no longer possible to purchase any new $399 promotional Premium Annual Pass/Voucher/Certificate/Reservation/Will-Call.

If you have already paid for a reservation/certificate/voucher/will-call it can be exchanged at any Park ticket or Guest Relations Window (including water parks, DTD, TTC, and Epcot International Gateway) for a "live" Premium Annual Pass any time during calendar year 2013. Even if you are treating this as a renewal, it is actually considered a "new" pass and the expiration date will be the same date in 2014 as the date you exchange it in 2013.

And the normal rules do apply for conversion, each person 18 or older must provide a photo ID, the Member must show their DVC Membership Card, and all people in the group must be able to show they reside with the Member.

There has been no official announcement about what will happen if you do not do the conversion during 2013. My personal opinion, which is not official, is that you would still retain the value of $399 (plus tax) which can be applied toward the purchase of any level of AP.

Thanks for the clarifications - hope all who wanted to take advantage of the special deal were able to do so. :)

I was in the process of purchasing our passes, but when I hit the submit button it said that the tickets were "temporarily" not available. Since I had already entered my credit card info, I thought it would take my order even though it was 12:01 a.m. That's what we get for procastinating!!!! Anyway...do you think they might offer another special similar to this one in 2013 or are these far and few between?

Thanks!

This was the only time a PAP has ever been offered with a discount for DVC members - so I'd think would qualify as few and far between.

Sorry you missed out on the opportunity! :(

For our next trip, we may be staying at AKV and using buses, so I'd be skipping the TTC. If our first park is MK, where can I redeem the voucher? Guest Services right outside the gate?

Cheshire Figment--

Question please--I purchased multiple PAPs with the DVC discount for my family the night of 12/31. I realized when I looked at the confirmations yesterday they all are for adults. One should have been for a child since DGD will turn 3 on 2013 and will need a ticket for one of our planned trips in 2013. DD is a DVC member also, but I was purchasing the tickets for everyone.
Will we have a problem converting the voucher that I will receive for an "adult" to a child's PAP? I was in such a hurry to get them ordered at the last minute on 12/31 I was just thinking about the total number I needed to purchase.
TIA for any help/information.

Donna

I am not Cheshire, but since the tickets cost the same now.... I can't see it's a big issue :)

There is still a $140 PAP discount for members. Regular price is $699 plus tax, member price $559.

Regular AP's are $149 off. Regular price $574 plus tax, member price $425.

There is no such thing as a "DVC Discount" related to any Annual Passes (No matter what Member Services says).

There are two separate categories (or price ranges) of Annual Passes. The lower price range is for Florida Residents and for DVC Members. And the higher price range is "Tourist", which is people who do not qualify for either of the other categories.

And of the six possible DVC Member AP types, the price difference ranges between $110 and $149.

Other than which Parks can be entered, Regular and Premium Annual Passes have the same privileges, no matter which price range they are in.
