37 Days To Go & The Wait Is Killin' Me!

Believe me, it will be here before you know it. And I speak from experience since my DD and I will be flying MSP to MCO late Tuesday for a few days of just "mom and daughter time" at BCV and then check in to BWV on FRIDAY!!!!

My DH and DS join us on Saturday for a week at what I like to call my little patch of heaven!

We'll be home and about ready to book next year's vaca when you arrive, nickspace. I'll try not to mess up the place!

Now the second guessing is starting to creep in. We were planning on only going to MK and doing other things but the crowd calendar for the Saturday before we leave is only at 4 and Epcot is recommended for that day. It sound too good to pass us. By the way MK will be a 6 on the crowd calendar and also a recommended park for the day we plan on attending there. My son is marching with his high school band in MK that day!

I do feel your pain. The last couple months before a trip I get so excited that I usually drive everyone nuts! It doesn't help that I am trying to lose another 10 pounds before we leave. We arrive May 6th at AKV (Kidani), just DH and me in a 1-bedroom. The day we arrive our flight lands at 11:41 am. After check-in we will go over to the Wide World of Sport Complex to pick up our 5K race packets. We are running the Expedition Everest 5K the next day. Then WeGoShop will be dropping by our groceries at 5:00 pm. Followed by dinner at Saana at 6:30. Saturday is a day of rest by the pool getting ready for the race at 8:30 pm on the 7th.

Then we have a whole week to have fun in the sun at WDW!

That will be great to see your son in the band at MK. We are band parents as well but our son's band director said he would never take them to WDW. My DH marched in a parade there in 1978. It was his first trip to WDW. His parents were told the wrong place to go to see them and they ended up missing the whole thing!

We will be arriving at BLT on May 7th and the excitement is definitely building! I keep looking over our plan and tweeking it. We usually go to a park every day. I just can't seem to stay away!

We are excited to see my son march in MK but cringed when we saw the trip plan the school has for the students. For the amount of money they are spending I could have planned a much better trip. Sometimes you just have to sit back and bite you lip even though you know a better way to do things.

We are exactly 5 months out and my DD17 has cried a few times, because the wait is killing her. My DS 9 drives me crazy everyday asking when are we going, SHH, we haven't even told him yet that we made the reservations. And the kicker is we were just there in Nov. and they are acting like it has been years. We are a Disney lovin family. I can't wait to get to BW. stayed at AK in Nov. but we do miss BW, the kids consider that home!

We are at 35 days and it is killing me too. I try not to think about it but it is too hard. It seems like whenever we hit the 45 day mark, I think about it nonstop. It will be even harder when DH and I reveal our Countdown Calendar to our kids on Friday because we will all be nonstop talking about our trip. Here's hoping that our last 35 days will go by fast. I totally agree! When we hit 30 days out on April 6th, I am going to go absolutely crazy. Trying to keep from talking about the trip at work, around the house, at family get togethers, etc. is becoming excruciating! You'd never know that we have been members for 14 years and have been going once or twice a year since then.
