that's the one I got my daughter for her birthday, Series 1. no way I could afford the newer one. She had 2 Fitibits that died and wanted the Apple Watch; she knows this one is not waterproof so would not work for the first poster. She works out every day and loves it for that and all the other nice things it does.I was going to replace my Fitbit when it died a few months ago. My son in law talked me into an Apple Watch instead. $150 at Walmart.
We thought long and hard about this. I was going to get it for my dh for his 50th.
He ultimately just said no. One because his phone is under his work plan so he wasn’t sure how that would work. I really wanted him to have it because sometime his phone is in the house and he is outside or his phone is muted so he just doesn’t see calls or texts from me. But his eyes are getting older and he would not be able to read with out his cheaters.
So he opted not to get it, plus he would of wanted the really $$$ band and thought that money would be spend better elsewhere.
My dd gets all her texts on her fit bit and it was half the price.
I’ll have to say no since I have no idea there was such a feature. You just made me investigate what that isWhen you swim with it , do you remember to put the water drop on or do
you just go for it ?
I was asking because I did youtube it , just now
a guy tried it with the drop ' on '
and then dropped it in a jar of water without the drop on
for over 20 min. to see if that drop did anything.
He found it didn't do anything .
there is a video on Apple that shows a guy surfing with his arm going through
the water with an apple watch on it.
For what it costs for one of these I want it to be pool proof.
I also like the idea of a heart monitor ,
but mostly the feature where I can get away from having
a phone on me so much.
