.

Sudefed worked for me the couple of times I had a sinus infection. {{{{HUGS}}}} to you and lots of PD.:D

I just remembered that my ob/gyn said sinus infections can be treated without an antibiotic. I guess they are not always infected, but may just be blockages and such. Of course, he delivers babies for a living, so who knows?!

When I thought I had a sinus infection earlier in my pregnancy (pain above my eyes, no tooth ache, not much nasal congestion) he suggested a lot of saline nasal spray plus regular sudafed. And it worked! After a few days all my symptoms went away, not to return until last week (months later).

Let us know if any of this is helping you! :)

Yes, I get toothache pain from my sinuses sometimes. Those almost always lead to migraines.:(

When I had my wisdom teeth cut out last fall, my sinuses popped open when they pulled one of the teeth out. Having those teeth out have helped a lot with my sinus problems/migraines.:)

I have had this too. If you want to relieve your pain from both without medication Accuppressure works great.
There is a place between your thumb and pointer finger about half way between them if you put pressure there and rub for a couple of mins you will feel relief. I know this sounds nuts but it works everytime!!
I have cronic pain from a condition where my nerve is pinched in my thoraic area of my neck/shoulder and rely on accuppressure for most of my pain relief. I hate pain meds so this is my way of functioning and it works GREAT!

DNSDisney, PLEASE tell me where the accupressure point is for that pinched nerve - I have the same thing and I'm always looking for new ways to ease the pain.

Yes. I have actually gone to the dentist thinking I had a toothache and he has x-rayed my teeth and found my sinuses to be blocked. Apparently I have very "low" sinuses, which extend into the upper part of my mouth (which my dentist tells me is a little odd, naturally:rolleyes: )which is why when they get plugged, my teeth hurt.

I am actually experiencing a little of that right now, as I have the tail end of a head cold.

I too suffer from toothaches when my sinuses act up. Some times it is just back teeth, other times all of them at once. I have barosinusitus. It acts up in bad weather. One thing that my doctor reccommended was an electric sinus mask. It is a little heating pad that fits around the front of your face, sort of like a sleep mask with eye holes. It is awesome! I even pack it when travelling, just in case. Tylenol also makes a night-time sinus tablet for those of us who get "wired" on sudfed and can't sleep. Hope you feel better soon!

Does anyone else get tooth pain from their sinuses?
Yes, and it is not comfortable at all. Motrin Sinus seems to help me quite a bit.

last year, i had this horrible pain in my face (my cheeks, nose and everything around them) then the pain spread to my back teeth and i swear it felt like my teeth had been knocked out. The pain was so bad I cried for hours. Finally i went to my dentist (that shows you how bad the pain was...i went to the dentist on my own free will) and he said there was nothing wrong with my teeth or jaw. then i went to my doctor and got sinus medicine, and within hours the pain was gone!!

I suffer with this all the time! If I get a relly bad sinus infection I will often get toothache and agree that you sometimes need an antibiotic if it gets this bad. I also suffer with really( and I mean really )bad sinus pain when I fly. I'm quite worried about the flight to Orlando as I've not flown this far before. I've tried Sudofed etc but it has made no difference, I still feel like my head is gonna explode, with pain in my jaw, front of my forehead etc. I have tried the sinus pressure points but think I need to brush up on my technique as it doesn't seem to help either!
I'd be grateful for any other tips?

Email me and I will send you scans of the pages in my accuppressure book . Is it TOS you have? My email is on my profile page.

Oh yeah I sure have! I was so surprised to be told by my Dentist that infected sinuses can & do cause tooth ache.

I was advised to take some anti sinus medication to allieviate this problem in the future.:(
