I can't believe I confused my take off and landing timel! That is so not me. I ended up with boarding pass B35. Will I have to sit in the dreaded middle seat? AHHHHHH

Probably not. There's too many people that want to sit together that will take a middle seat. Most SW planes have 150 or more seats so that mean 50 aisle and 50 window and you are about at seat 85 or so.

It probably depends on whether or not your flight is a continuation of another flight, meaning there may be passengers already onboard when your flight begins boarding.

If your plane starts out empty at your airport, you should be fine as a "B" lister. "C" listers -- the "C" stands for Center seat.

I agree it depends on if your flight starts empty at your airport of is a flight coming from another airport. this is not dependent on your flight being nonstop as your flight could be nonstop from your airport but not be empty arriving at your airport

I've always found an aisle or window seat as long as i'm in the B group. Even on a recent flight from BOS to STL with mostly single business passengers, at B49 I still got a window seat. I think it was the last non middle but I worked for me!

On a flight home Sunday from BWI to PWM I was B16 and actually got the coveted exit row seat without a seat in front of it, truly is just luck of the draw and where people chose to sit.

I'll agree with this. If there are 150 seats on the plane, two-thirds of them, or 100, will be aisle or window. At B35, you are in the 95th boarding position...which would theoretically guarantee you an aisle or a window. However, there could be some family boarding after the A group or disability boarding that messes that up a little. But also keep in mind that the low part of A often has gaps since all the business select seating rarely sells out on tourist destinations and those that use family boarding will often use middle seats.

Worst case, I think your aisle or window might be in the last five rows, but I'm almost positive you'll find one somewhere.

I've had mid to high B's and still had choice of seat position for two of us, starting with empty plane.

Like others have already said, available seating is dependent on if it is a connecting flight and how many people board between A and B. But in most cases, you will be fine. My family had mid Bs coming home and we all sat together towards the back of the plane. I have found that unless the plane is full of business travelers traveling alone, many middle seats will already be taken with people flying together.
