I read that an American was very ill when he checked in to a Hong Kong hospital, I think it was last week, maybe earlier this week. 16 health care workers in the hospital also became ill. I haven't read anything since, nor have I looked for more information.

I heard a report about a sick American in Hong Kong as well, but I didn't hear much else. Definitely not that it was a world-wide threat

I just read about this in our newspaper today about a severe pneumonia threat and that an Asian woman and her child died from it. It may have been in Toronto?
