33 things kids should do before they're 10

I was thinking about DD's friend (7) who isn't allowed to do lots of kid's stuff because it's too messy, when I came across this:

Happy to say that we've managed quite a few of these, with the help of 'Nan and Grandad'
Think I'll leave the frogspawn bit to them too.................

Thanks for posting this...I heard about this list last year and meant to have a look at it!

Pleased to say that we've done quite a few of them...we have the stains on the stair carpet to prove we get breakfast in bed occasionally!!

Not managed the frogspawn though!!!

Just 2 to do here
Build a nest out of grass and twigs, and Make perfume from flower petals, which seeing as I have all boys really the last one doesn't count
and I am sure I could find another 33 more

And here I was thinking that I never do much with the boys

Done a lot of those with my two and those I haven't they've done at school. Wouldn't encourage collecting frog spawn not because I'm squemish but because its cruel to them, we have frog spawn in our pond and delight in watching them turn into tadpole (if the fish don't get to them first) - maybe it would be kinder putting them in a jam jar afterall!!!

Never mind the mess kids make when they're 10, try coming home to find your teenage daughter (born messy) has been getting to grips for the first time with her hot leg-waxing kit in the kitchen I think we'll find ourselves sticking to saucepans and drawer handles for months to come ...
