325 minutes posted for Frozen???

I'm not surprised the standby wait was a little shorter on Sunday. I think it was Monday that they decided to open up a bunch more FP slots. I would imagine their ratio changed after things went OK that first day.

And FP+ really has made rope drop worse in my opinion. The standby line builds SO much faster now, and moves slower since there are FP slots being fed in from rope drop on.

This is all really just practice for the big show though........the Mine Train.

Has there been any talk of replacing belle at akershus with A&E? Would make sense. Why is belle in norway anyways?? And they can rename it Arendelle maybe. :scratchin

The $12.85 / hour is pitiful. I wish no one would audition for it. This is essentially an actor position in which the role cannot be easily filled. They could pay more than that. Much more. Shame on Disney.

I'll also add that this whole craze of standing in line for 3+ hours is a good thing for most people because it keeps a huge pool of people off the other attractions. Also, I have young girls who love Frozen but when we go to DLR in November, if it's like this, we will not be meeting A & E. I am not going to play it up in between now and then and talk about it. That is how I will manage their expectations. That way if I deem it an insane wait, I can keep it all to myself and we can have fun not waiting in line for hours and seeing everything else.

I just checked the touring plans app and it said the posted wait time for Anna and Elsa is 325 minutes. The expected time is 268!

Would you ever step into a line if you were told that the expected wait was 5 1/2 hours?

If it were the line for the last chopper out of Saigon...

other than that...not on your life!

It's the parents, not the kids that cause this.

The previous poster that mentioned not playing it up is right.

My girls love frozen. But they love riding rides and having fun even more.

Forcing the family to wait in a miserable line because of a fantasy that it'll somehow make you vacation is crazy.

If I didn't have a fastpass for it i wouldn't go.

My 6yo DD likes Frozen and would very much enjoy getting her picture take with A&E, but unless we get a FP, she will be told that we are simply not standing in line for hours to meet a stranger in a costume. I don't think she'd want to anyway once she understood the length of the line.

Do most people's kids think these characters are real? My kids have just sort of always understood that they are people dressed up. The giant sized chipmunks sort of gave that away pretty early on.

"Look, you can meet Anna and Else....or you can go on 8-10 rides"

Most kids have enough sense to make the right choice.

Not very long ago at all, both were possible. All you had to do was...wait for it...go early and understand FP. Crazy I tell you.

We had a fastpass for Anna and Elsa yesterday. The line was about two hours mid-afternoon.
