He wants me to call Human Resources to make sure the benefit package is acceptable to me and after I do that he wants me to call him in two days..

I would go ahead and call HR about the benefits. You never know. I'm jealous! You would work 8 to 4! At the hospital I was at we had the extra lousy 1/2 hour. I worked 7:30 - 4. Accruing 7.2 hours every 2 weeks would be nice! We had something similar. I had a job in Medical Staff Services for 8 years. Good luck, C.Ann. At least call HR.

Decisions are tough to make but at least you have options.

It's scary not "knowing" a job right away, but you learned fast at your current job right? I'm sure you'll catch on quick.

I just get the impression that you are not happy where you are and that's important... it's tough to keep a job if you are not comfortable or unhappy at it.... I would at least call and follow up.

Sounds like a better deal to me! Follow through and check into it further! The 401k match and hours are definitely a plus. If nothing else, it sounds like it would look better on your resume! You can do it! Keep us posted!
