31 Oct - 5 Nov or 6 Nov - 11 Nov?

We already have reservations for the latter, but I saw that we could also get in on 31 Oct. It's room only, since we'll be using our military tickets. Which week would you choose? I know 6 Nov is Jersey week? How bad is it? We've gone the week after Thanksgiving (twice), February, and the beginning of May. This will be our first time at the F&WF.

Are you talking about this year?! We also arrive the 6th. I imagine the week before will be much quieter with better hours as after the 31st there will be no more parties. But crowds have been unpredictable this year, not sure the difference would be enough to go through the hassle of re-arranging all your FP's and possible ADR's.

Its a moderately busy time of year anyhow, but I do think Jersey Week coupled with Veterans Day would make for a busier week. I'd go the week prior if you can swing it.
