30th Birthday Trip 2018

Hello!

My awesome dude decided to treat me to a Disneyland/Knotts Berry Farm/Universal Hollywood trip next year for my 30th Birthday! Squeeeee!!

Now, my Birthday is near the end of February, which based on my research means quite a few attractions will be closed. I want to make sure as few attractions are closed as possible, so I likely won't go on my actual birthday. So I was wondering what time of year would be recommended?

I remember hearing about the Knotts Berry Farm Berry Festival on the podcast - was it in April? I am a big bunny fan as well, and would love to meet some of the rabbit characters, so that would likely be in April as well for Easter?

I also love the idea of going to one of the Halloween parties!

I know I just don't want to go in March or June - trying to avoid the crazy crowds. I went in August 2016 and it was great! Weather and crowds were fantastic.

Hotel suggestions? As much as I'd love to stay at the Disneyland Hotel, it's simply not in our budget. Good Neighbor seems like the way to go. Any favorites to check out? Is Air bnb still allowed in Anaheim?

Any thoughts, suggestions, etc. would be greatly appreciated. I'll probably send an email to the Dreams Unlimited Travel as well, but thought I would start with my fellow Disneyland fans

Mid June is a really good time to go to Disneyland if you want to avoid crowds. Its always crowded at Disneyland but less so during this time from my personal experience. The last few days of April is also decent. Halloween has a ton of fun stuff going on at all three parks you listed. Universal and Knotts scary farms are fantastic if you like real scary stuff. Disneyland is much more tame in comparison but all three parks are really crowded during Halloween. Really crowded.
