??

If I get practical things I always get other fun things as well. This year I'm debating getting them something big or not. I normally get them some a few clothes, toys/music, books, and something they can use their imaginations to create something with.
I haven't gotten much of anything yet for them, but almost everyone else is taken care of.

I would say a mixture of both.

DD is getting a Hello Kitty CD player and some CD's, a Mulan Costume with the accesories and a Mulan doll, and furniture for her Disney Sweetheart Dolls from Santa.

From us, she is getting clothes, pajamas, slippers, a Tinkerbelle Snowglobe (she gets a Snowglobe every Christmas) and a Pocohontas doll.

Her grandparents (my parents) are giving her a bike, and the protective gear, a bed for her Disney Sweetheart doll and the older equivalent of LeapPad.

Her grandfather (my DH's father) I think is giving her the interactive globe.

Her aunt (DH's sister) is giving her some games, and some things for her LeapPad thing-y.

One of her maternal Great grandmothers is giving her the Pop Dreamer Dolls and clothes, and the other is giving her a "Bitty Baby" Rocking Horse and some clothes for her Bitty Baby.

We are letting her open her gifts from us on Christmas Eve so she won't be so overwhelmed come Christmas Day.

I don't know what any of the other aunts and uncles are getting her. She is the only grandchild on my side, and the only under 18 grandchild on the other side, so I guess you could say she is spoiled, but at least she is gracious...thank goodness!

Hope all have a very Merry Christmas and a Peaceful and Happy New Year!

We do mostly practical, clothes, shoes, long underwear, and maybe a lego set or remote control car...

Now Santa on the other hand brings all the cool stuff, video games, toys he wants, fun stuff for for us parents too! Santa is one cool dude (according to DS) and gives way better gifts than we do.

I have it on good authority that Santa is bringing DS a Razor scooter and a Rescue Heroes firetruck. ;)

DH and I bought DS a CD walkman, some CD's, a soccer ball bean bag chair, books, Rescue Hero, blocks, and I know there is something else, but I can't remember. No socks and underware here, but DH will get them from his mother, he does every year.
