300 points expiring in a month

Hi Everyone,
I have tried to book trips for the last several months and everywhere I tried was booked. I now have 300 points that I am going to lose at the end of February. I would love to take a trip somewhere or sell my points (which I have no idea how to do), any other suggestions would be great. Can we bank points to Interval International and get more time to use them? Are others having trouble booking trips? My home base is Hilton Head and there isn't anything available there either. My frustration with how the club has changed over the years is growing. Someone please help!

There is a forum on here for renting your points. I am not familiar how to do it on your end but Im sure someone can help with the logistics. As a parent of a special needs student this makes me so sad! Do all the kids book and pay for their own rooms, or is the school not accommodating your niece's needs? I worry she won't have some kids to hang around with and tour the parks each day.

The school tried to pair her up with who they thought would be a kind group of girls. The girls said no. The school was going to put her room right next door so she could coordinate going to the parks with them but she knew about the room she was going to go into and then the fact that the girls refused so we didn’t want that to continue to happen and her ultimate feelings of rejection. She has a close friend that is similiar to her needs (from a different school) so we are going to take her with us and then my daughter whom she adores. The gift is that she is so kind that she will be thrilled with this option. The real world stinks sometimes but she/we have to learn to push through the disappointment. Thank you for commenting.

So she doesn't know the girls at all?! That would have been so uncomfortable for everyone. Your solution is perfect, your niece will have an awesome time with a friend instead of being forced to hang with strangers.

So very true. I could definitely see my DD in a situation like your niece. Your niece is very lucky to have such caring family members who are able to make the trip happen without the school -- so many kids wouldn't have that. Thank you for helping her have the opportunity to make some great memories.

Interval isn't a bad option. Depending on how much space you need, 300 points should get you pretty far in Interval.

You can get 2 weeks in 1 bedroom units which is solid. You could try to get consecutive weeks at a great resort like the Westin Kaanapali, Marriott Kauai Beach Club, or Marriott Ko'olina (close to Aulani).

If you do decide to deposit into interval, make sure to set up on ongoing exchange request at resorts and times that will work well for you. The best inventory never really comes online because exchange requests are fulfilled first.
