Has Disney ever beat a DVC rental?

Has Disney ever offered discounts for Aulani that either came close in price or actually beat the price of renting points through a broker at Aulani?

Very rarely and typically only for Ocean views, at least in my memory. And that's for comparing hotel rooms with cash to DVC studios. Any larger rooms will be cheaper to rent points.
