Has anyone else seen this site yet? Jupelo

This person whom I think is a male although I don't know why, but he goes to WDW every day and plans to keep going for 300 days. The best bit is that he takes pictures every second he is there then posts them online. It's quite addictive, not so that I stay online but while I surf I have to keep going back to refresh and see where this guy is! Sometimes you have to really guess then it all comes clear. I just watched as he rode Space Mountain and now he's in line at Test Track...amazing!

I was looking at the pictures and because it is only 6:00 am I thought they were live. LOL! Then it started to hit me. Buses at WDW don't open until 7:00 am, how on Earth is it possible to post like that so quickly?, and, it is not light out yet in WDW lol. Guess I still have some waking up to do lol. On another thought, they are pretty neat. ::yes::

uh oh..I've just woken up and on the site he's in line at Tower of Terror :scared: Yesterday morning it was Soarin! I can't stop watching! I wonder how he takes all those pictures, the camera seems to be around his neck and it must be on automatic somehow. There must be a noise, if I manage to somehow get back to the world soon I am going to look out for him :flower: . Thankfully for me it isn't live, otherwise I would never get to see it. I wonder how someone would go about making it live? Now that would be really cool, I'd stay up for that one ::yes:: .

Yes, I've seen the site.

Funny, how the first time I saw it, (linked from another board), it was just his effort to make the magic available. He had no other motive. The site's been up for a week now! Pretty clever how he first got this traffic moving via free message boards.

OK, let me get this straight:

This guy is spending 300 days at Disney World, and taking pictures of the entire thing?

How is he affording this?
Why is he doing this?

I'm wondering the same. I read in his trip report that he is a 19-year-old male. How can he afford this? Sounds to me like either he's hoping to make ALOT of money selling his dvds or he's being funded by someone!

From his about me: "When I was 13, about 9 out of 10 people I talked to vehemently disagreed about my starting a business"

All I can think of is....he must've invested Post It's (you have to know Romy & Michelle's High School Reunion to appreciate it). :)

Where is he selling his DVD's? I know he has shoptheparks as his sponsor but unless he personally owns that company then he isn't selling anything. Plus I believe he said he wants to change sponsors regularly but to keep them Disney related.

Me I wouldn't even care if he did own shoptheparks, why would I? The Dis is sponsored by other companys too and if I get to use this wonderful site which I love then more power to them.

:confused3
Sorry.... but don't get what is so "amazing" :confused3
I would much rather look at the "Picture of the Day" thread.
I guess I don't have the patience to keep "refreshing" :confused3
It is an interesting concept though! ........ ::yes::

I guess it would be much more effective if there was sound!!! Just watching the Tarzan show now..... (even though I like the show)... just seems boring without sound.... I just want it to "Move On" already :crazy2:

Now hes leaving Animal Kingdom waiting for an MGM bus. I find this amazing. I'm 18 and don't have my own name on this site yet so I'm on my dad's name. I find this awsome and I would love to know how hes doing it.

I dont think those are his DVDs. Or if they are he made them a long time ago. Because I've seen them on other sites (course I can't really remember what.. maybe the laughingplacestore) months ago.

Last trip to WDW in 2004 I wanted to record every min of it. But it would have been quite expensive ($50 for 1 h battery, $6 for a 90 min tape)...Let's see in 2004 it was only morning EMH.. so the parks opened at 8.. hmm... hang on I'll figure this out and get back to you!

Ok it was about 47 hours inside the parks. So it would be 47 batteries, and 32 tapes which equals out to $2750 including tax.

That doesnt include bus rides or anything like that. Only time in the parks from when they opened at 8 am on EMH... and it doesnt include the time it took to leave the parks after they closed.
