Anybody else get an email with a PIN number for 30% off the values in parts of February and March?
 
That stinks because we're not going then. We're going in August. It's for March 13-30.
 

I got that same email. I wish we could go and use it. 30% off of peak prices is really good.
 
I got one! This is the first time I have ever gotten a discount email from Disney. Of course I can't use it since we aren't going to WDW during that time frame. I supposed they are non transferable, right?

Correct. Any code like this is assigned specifically to a name in Disney's database.
 
I just booked using an AP code, but this would be the same discount. I got the email. I wonder if I can change the reservation to the pin number discount instead?
 
Please, Please, Please adhere to DIS board guidelines. Posting any offer that is reported to be a PIN offer, regardless of whether or not you have been able to use it without a PIN is AGAINST DIS POSTING GUIDELINES.

These posts will be removed, and if they continue the Webmasters will again go to the "no codes posted" rules that used to be in place.

The webmasters have generously allowed for codes to be posted that are public codes (FL resident, AP, AAA, general public) let's not ruin that by continuing to post codes that are not intended for everyone to use.

Yes, some CMs may book a reservation for guests with a code that requires a PIN and not apply the PIN, but that can have repercussions for that CM or for the guest possibly.

If there is ANY INDICATION on these boards that a code that has been listed was a PIN offer and not a general public code PLEASE DO NOT CONTINUE TO TRY TO POST IT HERE.

Yes, I got the email today -
but guess what we are leaving for WDW on Jan 14 for 10 nights so we wont be going back in Feb or March.

Would love to but who could afford to???:confused:

Just my luck - I wished eveyday last year for a pin code and now got one that I can not use.

Maybe I will get one again.:rolleyes1

It looks like a really good deal but if our trip this Jan is 1/2 as good (weather and crowd wise) as last Jan I will stick to Jan everytime.:cool1:
 
I got one too! I have a trip booked for May and I'm thinking about moving it up to take advantage of the deal. I was quoted $129/night at CS arriving 3/30 for 12 nights. I'm afraid of the crowds though....so I'm not sure if I'm going to make the change.
 
Just curious :cool1: when were the book by and travel by dates on the
email offer you recieved? When I was speaking to a wdtc cm earlier this week he announced that a pin number was attached to my account when I stopped jumping up and down :cheer2: :worship: I started hitting him up for details (I finally won something!! ) he couldn't give me any other info except the pin # because the discounts weren't showing.:sad1: He told me to keep calling back that they should release the discount in the next couple of weeks. I have tried calling and spoke with some other cm's, the pin # shows up, but it is a different story everytime.:eek: :sad2:
I went from elation (sp?) to frustration. I am not traveling untill the end of April so I just wanted to see if it was worth it to even call.
 
I got this email too. It advertises 30% off of the values, doesn't mention other categories. Unfortunately, we are going in May and the offer expires at the end of March :sad2:
 
I'm so sad. I've been waiting for something for March and unfortunately I didn't get the code. I even called to check, but nothing.:confused3 ;) ;)

Mine didn't mention other categories either...I just figured it didn't hurt to ask if the discount could be applied to a moderate!
 
I didn't get it either. But I guess it might have something to do with the fact that, even though I keep CORRECTING my email address in their records, CRO always has it still misspelled. BTW, it is NOT difficult -- baseballwidow...but they keep having it as baseballwido).

How annoying. Figures. My trip is 3/13-3/18. waaah.

Can somebody who did receive a PIN code make a reservation for somebody who didn't? For example, my friend gets a code, but can't take advantage off it. I decide I want to go at the time the code is valid. Can she make the reservation for me using the code? How about if the reservation is in her name, and lists my children and I as the other guests...could she remove herself from the reservation prior to check in, and add my husband?

Not really planning to go, just want to know if it would be possible.

I am relatively sure that the name on the code has to make the reservation, and also has to the the name of the person who checks into the hotel.

I have never gotten a code, but have gotten AP discounted rooms and this was the case.
