Can anyone explain what is special (not saying that in an ugly tone!) about Ugg boots? Obviously, I am clueless. They look more like winter boots to me. I tend to like more streamlined, classic, leather dressy boots. Are they really comfortable? Are they all lined? If they are and you live in mild climate, do your feet burn up? I love Crocs and at first was skeptical, so could someone tell me. I might end up deciding to get some. I need some new boots.

I normally wear an 11, and mine are 10s and fit perfect. I would definitely order a 9.

They didn't have the color of my choice, but had my second choice so I ordered them b/c you can't beat the price, no sales tax, and free shipping!

They are the most comfortable boots I've ever owned, I can't wear them to work, so I still own the "classic dressy boots" but as soon as I get home, right into the uggs, I even wear them with my P.J.'s as slippers. They are lined and you don't wear socks with them (ever) you feet stay warm, some of the younger kids / teens wear them during the summer and say your feet stay cool, personally I can't do that but wear them all winter. Don't wear them in the snow/rain, they will get ruined, but I have a totally abused pair that I save for those days. Do size down, they run big and they do stretch. Totally recommend them, once you wear them you will be hooked. BTW- talk about ugly, crocs!! if your into comfort go for the uggs.

I was going to go w/the Costco wantabe, but then I decided to go with the one DD13 really wanted. The cowboy ones. We saw then at the mall for $169. + tax. I bought them for $119. total.

Thanks for posting this! I ended up going with the Ultra tall because they didn't have anymore 7s in the tall. Other than the $40 price difference (which only ended up being $28 after the discount) and 1/2" in height, what's the difference?
