30 day countdown, 30 new Disney experiences

9. Water parks - we got the Water Parks option on our tickets for the first time. I hope to go to both parks.

This is a great idea and has really got me thinking. We did a lot of firsts our last trip a year ago and now I'm thinking that I may have to figure a few new things to do to add some fun, but am not sure what is left. Let's see...here are the firsts I have so far.

1. Going at a warmer time of year to enjoy the pool more.
2. Going to Typhoon Lagoon.
3. Food and Wine Festival.
4. Try 2 credit meal - Narcoossee's
5. Seeing the Halloween decorations
6. Take my kids to the Hall of Presidents - don't know if they are going to think that is exciting
7. Eat at Le Chefs de France.
8. Try to stay late at MK for EMH til 2am...I don't think we will make it, but even 11pm would be late for us.
9. Would love to ride Astro Orbiter, but it never seems open.
10. Ride Mission Space on orange.
11. Maybe pool hop if time
12. Eat a Kitchen sink if have time.
13. Great Movie Ride

I can't think of anymore. Anyone have some suggestions. Here are all the new things we did last year.

1. Stay at BLT
2. Stay at AK
3. Luau
4. Pirates League
5. Mission Space
6. New Space Mtn
7. Ate at Wave

I'm sure we will experience many more firsts...but this is what we have planned.

10. DisneyQuest - I love video games but my wife doesn't. Which probably explains why I haven't been here before. Since we have the WP&M option, I don't think she'll mind going.

11. Boardwalk - I didn't know it existed until 2 trips ago and we didn't have time to visit on our last trip.

I am an AP holder (as well as a good chunk of my friends are) and we go at least once a month. And we usually still find something, somewhere, that is a Disney First for somone in our party. There will always be new stuff you can stumble upon.

Our new things are:

Being there during Christmas season to see the Decorations & lights.
MVMCP
Thanksgiving
Black Friday sales
Visiting ALL the resorts
New restaurants to try, Boma, O'hana

12. Mini golf - my wife and I play mini golf on all our vacations but we didn't know about the Disney courses until our last trip. Raise your hand if you think mini golf should be added to the Water Parks and More option for those of us that don't play regular golf.

13. Massage - we are getting massages at Zahanati Spa. This will be the first time getting a massage ever. I'm a little nervous and excited.

14. Animal Kingdom after dark - we plan to go to an evening EMH at DAK on our trip. The parks have such a different feel after the sun goes down and I can't wait to see Animal Kingdom at night.

15. World Showcase (at a slow pace) - we've always rushed through WS and never took the time to really look around and see what it has to offer. Since we have 10 day passes, we'll have plenty of time to really explore.

(I knew moving this thread would kill it) :sad1:

16. Kim Possible World Showcase Adventure - no, I don't have kids but this looks like it could be fun. Besides, I might get to see parts of WS I would have missed otherwise.

It is beautiful after dark and Everest is even more fun in the dark!

They are lots of fun! So many special effects you would never see if you didn't do the missions.

17. Living Seas with Nemo - I've never been on the ride even before the addition of Nemo. But I did sea Turtle Talk in DCA.

30 days for us! (my husband and I)

Here's ours:

1st stay at CBR
1st MNSSHP
1st Cali Grill and Le Cellier with my husband! :lovestruc (been solo)

1sts that we have yet to discover!!!

18. Sum of all Thrills - this attraction opened after my last trip so obviously I have not been on it before. I've been on similar attractions but nothing as complex as this one.

I'm at 29 days now, so I'll join in with what I can think of at the moment...

1. First time at ASMu
2. First time doing rope drop at MK
3. First time doing evening EMH at Epcot
4. Dh's first MNSSHP
5. First time on a dining plan (we're doing qs)
6. Earl of Sandwich, Columbia Harbor House, etc...

as for first rides/shows we're planning to do
-flights of wonder
-finding nemo the musical
-fotlk (new for dh, I saw it last year)
-rafikis planet watch
-maharajah jungle trek
-pangini forest trail
-Hall of Presidents (new for DH)
-Country Bear Jamboree (new for DH)
-Astro Orbiter
-Tiki Room
-msep
-characters in flight (if I don't freak out, I'm terribly afraid of heights)
-the sum of all thrills
-ellen's universe of energy
-captain eo
-explore WS better and maybe see some of the movies/shows/entertainment that it has to offer.
-maybe be brave and try some food from the F&W festival (I'm really picky, so this is unlikely)
-indiana jones stunt show (new for dh)

I think that about covers it.

As far as characters, I don't believe I've ever met Goofy, Pluto, Donald or Daisy, so I'm hoping to do that!

19. Philharmagic - I was never sure what this attraction was all about so I never bothered to see it. Good reason, huh? Now that I've read about it, I'm excited to go.
