We will be celebrating my DS 3rd birthday while at WDW this Sept. His birthday falls in the middle of our vacation which I have scheduled as AK day. I am saving MK for the last 2 days under advice that kids won't want to go to any other parks after MK.

Here is my question(s):

1 Should we celebrate at AK or hold off and do it at MK? (He'll never know that difference.)

2 If we do celebrate at AK, do they have the 'birthday buttons' like MK does? If so, where do we get them?

3. Do you have any suggestions for celebrating at either park?

Thanks, Experts!

Anna:)

Hi there, we celebrated our 4 year old's birthday last year on our Disney Trip. They do have Birthday buttons at AK, MK and Epcot. At MGM the button is the same as the MK. At least in Dec 2003 they were! We let our DD wear hers whenever she wanted to that week. She wore it at MGM and MK, I think. She had tons of birthday wishes and some of the characters that signed her autograph book wrote "Happy Birthday" in there. Have a great time!

PS you can get the Birthday Buttons at Guest Services at all the parks, AK guest services is to the left right after you enter the park!

I would get him a b-day button at each park. We are only going for one day, but it's the day before DS' b-day and I plan on getting him a button at MK.
