3* Wyndham Universal I-Drive ?

Hi

I was curious if anyone's stayed here, or if y'all have heard any reviews at all. I did a search and there's not much at all, if anything. It's been going at Priceline for $30 something lately

Hi and yes, we stayed there last year for one night before checking into Hard Rock/Universal. It was very convenient to Universal and nice. The people were great at the front desk and upgraded us to a bigger room with bunk beds for the kids. HOWEVER, (big HOWEVER), that was last October. From what I've been reading lately on http://www.biddingfortravel.com (scroll to the bottom for Hotel Reviews), Wyndham I-Drive no longer gives upgrades, etc. to Priceline customers even with a Wyndham-By-Request card (which I guess most places don't do anyway). But, yes, we had a good experience there.

I hadn't even seen that about upgrades at bidding either...wonder how I missed it? OH--I had never scrolled down!

Oh well, wasn't really expecting one anyway at that price. Glad to hear it was a good experience

I've stayed there twice this year, once in April than again in July, both on winning bids on Priceline. Both times I had wonderful experiences. I only stayed one day both times but both times had nice comfortable rooms in a great location. Hope that helps!

Duh. Should've mentioned in my first post that a few days ago I won one night (again before we check into Hard Rock this year) at the Wellesley Inn and Suites/Southpark area for $28 which is definitely a good deal considering my family can eat more than that at the free breakfast! Anyway, it's fairly new and clean and also gets good reviews.

Hi, Lori!

I stayed at the Wellesley over NY's on a last minute bid and really liked it. They have a nice breakfast, a full kitchen and are right across from a WalMart for extra stuff.
