3 time's a charm for today's new pin

*3rd* Sorry- Disney on the brain!! Lol!

I called once this am, asked CM if we had any "different" (we were already booked with a % off pin) pins between my husband and I. She said no, and we would get an email if we were going to get a pin.

Then I called back about 20 minutes ago and asked again. Same answer.

Called back 5 minutes later and said "I was wondering if either my husband or I have the new pin for free dining by any chance." Low and behold it was there. No email or anything

Either way, the room discount we already had was about $600 cheaper, so I left it at that, but just wanted to give hope and reassurance to those told "no" to keep trying!! It really is all in who you talk to!! Good luck!

This is sooo annoying! That is why we are all so crazy about calling again and again. Why are they all saying different things!!!! AUGGGGHHHH!!!!! Either you have it or you don't. It should be that simple.... But it isn't.

It is an encouragement to people to know this, but too bad it has to be multiple phone calls before they give you results! Just keep swimming!

This truly baffles me. How on earth can some CMs find the pins, and some can't? I never know what to believe anymore!

Every 267th caller gets a PIN.

I'm not all that high-tech with different sites!! lol I am just figuring since they are offering FD that it might be more busy than I am anticipating. I have no clue!! what is touring plans? and easywdw....I'm still new...

They are both great websites that give you crowd predictions for each day of the week, along with EMH, parade and show times ect. so they are all in one place. touringplans.com is something like $10 for a subscription (I payed 6 months ago, so I don't remember) but VERY much worth if you are planning a trip, as they break down each park day by day. Great planning tool easywdw.com is free, not as detailed, but still a great resource. If you search for either, you will find a huge amount of info. They are great for actual "touring plans" if you are looking to use one. (Also TourGuide Mike I have heard of, but never used, see alot of good reviews though!)

Anyway, keep calling up until April 30th. (I believe that is when the pin expires.) It just takes one CM to get you FD!! Good luck!

Your post inspired me to call again! Called this morning and no pins for me or my mom. Then I read your post and decided to try again....low and behold my mom had the free dining pin. I'd love a room discount but any discount is better than none! Don't give up people...have them check everyone in your party for pins.

Did you have them check everyone by name? address? e-mail? phone number? unfortunately they seem to have everything listed seperately, I gave her my name and address and she didn't even show my reservation! I had to give her the actual booking number to prove we even had a reservation...

I asked the CM if she could check my mom (who is the only other adult in my party). I gave the CM her name and zip code, which is what the CM wanted. Then she asked for address. From this point she confirmed her email address with me. She then told me my mom had two pins--one that we already knew about b/c of an email a few weeks ago, and the free dining pin that she hadn't been notified of.

I reserved the trip back in January for me, DD, and my mom. So of course her name is already on the trip. Then a couple weeks ago I created an account for her (making sure to use our PO BOX address and not our physical address which is already associated with me) and saved some vacation offers. As luck would have it five days later she gets her first pin by email....however she still hasn't received the free dining pin we were able to book with. I on the other hand have three accounts with three different emails and have never gotten a pin! Maybe that's what happens when you already have a reservation?

Good luck...this is the third time I've called over the last week and I finally got lucky with this particular CM. There is so much inconsistency with the CMs that I sometimes wonder if they're working for the same company. I mean, how hard can it be to find a pin? Makes me wonder if the individual CMs have any control over this mysterious process.
