This thread reminds me of the the good ol’ days (11 mo mark in 2013) when I once booked 8-9 std studios over presidents weekend (January 2014) for a huge extended family/best friends trip. It was at the 11mo mark, and we had two ppl booking furiously at 8am, but we got it. Needless to say it likely will never be possible again.

Omg that’s a lot of studios. Yeah I would have not slept in weeks if I had to do that . And I totally agree you could never do that now. It’s so hard to book good studios.

For Mom’s 85th, we had 3 Standard Studios, 1 preferred studio and a standard 2 bedroom for 4 nights in December! This was 2004. Booking was day by day, the preferred studio was for a family that replied after original booking. Mom’s birthday was December 22, so we left WDW on December 23.
