First of all, when dealing with Disney remember this above all else:
Past history is no indication of future events. Simply put, that means that what happened in the past does not necessarily mean it will happen again in the future.
Disney, Grinch though they may be in many people's eyes

, has never raised prices in December. It is very possible that pices, particularly AP/PAP's, could go up in January but it's not a given.
Disney marches to their own drummer. They do what they want when they want. Over the past few years they have steadfastly avoided falling into any kind of predictable pattern on when and if their
ticket prices would increase.
So the answer to your question is a definite "maybe".
.... if I order by phone and pick up at disney where do I do it since I would need them to check in if I get an AP rate..DTD?
First off, you do not need to have the AP in hand when you check in. Most times it isn't even asked for. In the event it is, you tell them that you are getting it that night/tomorrow morning and they will tell you to return sometime tomorrow to show the front desk the AP. This only happens in
rare circumstances as most front desk CM's could care less whether you have an AP or not.
But if you really want to do a will call on an AP, they can
only be picked up at a Guest Relations location at any of the four major parks or at either Guest Relations at DTD. Will calls will typically take you longer to get processed than either exchanging a voucher or just buying an AP while there. The reason is they have to locate your order in the computer system (not always easy for Disney

) and then many CM's have to find out how to handle the actual transaction since doing will calls is not something do very often. Plan on at least double the amount of time as a voucher exchange.
