3* priceline ?

3* Priceline hotels consistently come up: Grosvenor, Hotel Royal Plaza, Hyatt, Radisson Universal, Renaissance World Gate, and Sheraton Safari. Can you think of a reason (besides the non-disney magic) that I would not like any of the properties that are NOT on Hotel Blvd?

TRANSPORTATION Not an issue if you have a car but I wouldn't rely on the offsite hotels shuttle service.

BREAKFAST If you book conventionally you can get a suite type hotel that offers a complimentary breakfast.

I just bid today and got the 3* Best Western Lake Buena Vista on Hotel Blvd for $32/night. Many people have gotten this hotel lately. The Hyatt Orlando closed last week. The Sheraton Safari is not far from the Best Western. The other off property hotel in the Disney zone that comes up is the Renaissance Worldgate. I like the refrigerator in the room and its close proximity to Animal Kingdom. For $32-$35/night, I feel any of these rooms are a bargain. I always rent a car.

I thought that the Best Western LBV was in the 2.5* category. Was I mistaken, or has that property been upgraded?

It began coming up as a three star on Priceline a few months ago. I guess the property recently finished some remodeling and upgrading. Recent reviews are much better than those in the past.

Yes, the BW DTD is coming up for the most part these days. from $32-$35. A true bargin!!
The Renaissance Worldgate is a great hotel for those rates, it's so close to AK, MGM and Epcot. The rooms ahve micros and fridges in them, the pool is very nice and they have a nice little coffee shop in there.
I'll be bdding soon for a weekend in Oct. I'm hoping for either of these properties.
