We finally manage to wake up at a reasonable hour - 7am
it was immediatly obvious that camerons eye was really sore and he was in a lot of pain only thing was we didnt really know where to take him or even if they would understand his medical history or the operation he was waiting to have. I was having kittens and was kicking myself for not researching where I should take him if something went wrong
In the end I phoned Give kids the world the village for children with life threatning illnesses which we had stayed at 4 yrs ago. They were fab and promised to get bk to me asap. In the meantime we decided to abandon our plans to go to clearwater today and have a much needed rest.
GKTW arranged for a dr to phone us and he advised us to keep up with the staeriod drops we already had with and confirmed that a trip to a hospital would be pointless as we already knew why he was like this and there was little they cud do.
We cleaned his eye up gave it a bath with steriods and the crossed our fingers and hoped for the best !!
We had a fab day round the pool and the games room and had the most gorgeous bbq ever!!
Tomorrow is Camerons birthday and we were all hoping for a miracle but i knew we cud get a smile on his face with our little surprise . ..
day 8 here
